How Much Does Housecall Pro Cost in 2026?

By Ryan Goering, CEO, BaaDigi · Last updated September 2026 · 17 sources checked

Housecall Pro pricing starts at $59 a month billed annually, or $79 month to month, for the Basic plan with one user[1]. Essentials costs $149 or $189 and includes five users; MAX costs $299 or $329, includes eight users and charges $35 a month for each extra user[1]. Those list prices are the same as in September 2025[2]. There is no long-term contract[1]. On top of the plan you pay card fees from 2.59% and 1% on bank payments[1]. Housecall Pro’s own call tracking starts at $45 a month[3]; CallRail is an alternative on Essentials and up[4]. Zapier and the open API come only with MAX[1]. The warning for anyone paying for Google Local Services Ads: LSA bookings and free Reserve with Google bookings land in the same Google inbox, and Housecall Pro says plainly that they are "not differentiated"[5].

BaaDigi does not resell Housecall Pro or take a referral fee from any software vendor named on this page. We sell marketing services, including a custom CRM built on GoHighLevel.

What does each Housecall Pro plan cost?

Housecall Pro plans as listed on its pricing page, per month (checked September 21, 2026)[1]
PlanBilled annuallyBilled monthlyUsers includedAdds over the tier below
Basic$59$791Online booking, scheduling and dispatch, estimates and invoicing, payments and consumer financing, price book, job costing, review management
Essentials$149$1895Routes, flat-rate pricing, checklist automations, photo reports, employee GPS tracking, commissions, QuickBooks Online sync
MAX$299$3298 (then $35 / user / month)Sales proposal tool, recurring service plans, route optimization, open API and Zapier, dedicated onboarding specialist, escalated phone support

The MAX button says Book Demo rather than buy[1]. The free trial is 14 days of MAX with no credit card[1]. No setup fee is published; MAX includes a dedicated onboarding specialist[1].

Time-limited: when we checked on September 21, 2026, the pricing page showed Basic and Essentials at $26 for the first month and MAX at $99 a month for the first three months[1]. The page does not print an end date or full terms, so confirm the offer and what you pay after it before you sign up. The table above shows list prices.

The $35 extra-user price is printed under MAX. The page says only that add-ons and extra users are optional on the other plans, so ask what a sixth user costs on Essentials before you sign up a growing crew[1].

Which Housecall Pro features cost extra?

Call tracking (Voice)From $45 / month plus overages; packages of 500–2,500 minutes
VoIP phone plus call tracking (Voice)From $65 / month plus overages
VoIP Super$350 / month for 6,000 minutes

Many add-ons have no published price: CSR AI (AI call and chat answering), Pipeline (automated lead follow-up), Campaigns, Websites, Payroll, Accounting, Business Coaching and vehicle GPS and dashcams[1]. The marketing tools a contractor is most likely to want, Pipeline, Campaigns and Websites, are all in that group[1].

Get the add-on quote in writing. With Voice, CSR AI, Pipeline and Campaigns all priced separately, the plan price can end up being the smaller part of the bill.

Does Housecall Pro lock you into a contract?

No. The pricing page FAQ says Housecall Pro "does not require long-term contracts"[1]. Downgrades take effect at the end of the billing period[1]. Annual billing saves $20–$40 a month against monthly billing, depending on the plan[1].

Can you get your data out of Housecall Pro if you leave?

Admins can export the Customers and Jobs lists; the CSV arrives by email[6]. Only admins have that permission, so make sure the owner’s login is an admin[6]. The pages we read do not say how long data is kept after cancellation, so export before you cancel.

How does Housecall Pro track where leads come from?

Housecall Pro gives you more ways to capture a lead than to prove where it came from. Here is what a contractor running Google Ads, Local Services Ads and a Google Business Profile actually gets.

  • Website capture: a "Book online" button that opens the booking flow in a pop-up on your site, a hosted booking link, and an embeddable Lead Form that creates a lead in Housecall Pro[7][8].
  • Lead Source field: every customer, job and estimate has one, and it feeds Reporting. Housecall Pro fills in system sources on its own, such as Google Reserve, My Website (Online Booking), Yelp and Thumbtack[9].
  • Campaign tags: online booking links can carry Tracking Attributes, such as "Email Campaign 1", and a job or estimate booked through that link is tagged with it[7]. That writes a job tag, not the Lead Source field, and the help pages we read do not mention UTM parameters. If you run Google Ads to a booking page, give each campaign its own tagged link rather than assuming UTM data carries through[7][9].
  • Call tracking: Housecall Pro’s Voice add-on, from $45 a month, assigns tracking numbers to lead sources[3]. CallRail also connects, but only on Essentials or above[4].
  • Google Local Services Ads and Reserve with Google: connected at no extra Housecall Pro charge. Reserve with Google is free for all Pros and runs on Housecall Pro’s own online booking[5].
  • Zapier and the open API: MAX only, $299 a month and up[1].
  • GoHighLevel: we found no native integration on Housecall Pro’s or HighLevel’s pages. A third-party marketplace app, CRM Connector, imports contacts and syncs jobs and appointments into GoHighLevel using a Housecall Pro API key[10]. Housecall Pro includes API access only on MAX, so plan on MAX for this route[1].

LSA and Reserve with Google bookings are mixed together. Since what Housecall Pro’s help article calls its January 2025 update, both arrive in one "Google" channel in the Job Inbox, and the article states that "they are not differentiated"[5]. LSA leads are paid; Reserve with Google is free[5]. If you cannot tell them apart, you cannot work out your real cost per LSA booking from Housecall Pro alone. Reconcile against the lead list inside your Local Services Ads account each month.

The Book Online button is no longer Google’s. The same article says a click on "Book Online" in a Local Services Ad or Reserve with Google now sends the customer "to the Housecall Pro Online Booking flow instead of Google’s own booking flow"[5]. If you or your agency track bookings on Google’s side, expect those numbers to change.

Who is Housecall Pro built for?

Housecall Pro says it is built for home service businesses such as HVAC, plumbing, electrical, cleaning and landscaping, from solo operators to growing teams[1]. Its industry list also covers handyman, pool, appliance, remodeling, carpet cleaning, garage door, chimney, pest control, window cleaning, pressure washing and custom home builders, plus commercial services[1]. The published plans stop at eight included users[1].

The company was founded in 2013. Its about page says it serves more than 45,000 home service businesses in two places and more than 40,000 in another[11]; its press releases cite more than 200,000 home service professionals, a count of people rather than companies[12]. It lists offices in Denver and San Diego[13] and is operated by Codefied Inc.[1].

What do contractors complain about most?

Housecall Pro ratings as displayed on each site, September 21, 2026[14][15]
SiteRatingReviews
Capterra4.7 / 52,746
Trustpilot2.4 / 5640

The gap between the two sites is large. Recent Trustpilot and Capterra complaints center on support that is hard to reach or handled by an AI bot, bugs and glitches in the app and phone system, bank payments stuck in pending for days, layout changes that disrupt daily work, and bills that reviewers say went up without notice[15][14]. The published plan prices themselves are the same as in September 2025[2][1]. The praise is for intuitive scheduling and for handling dispatch and billing in one place[14][15]. G2 blocked our checks, so its rating is not shown.

What changed at Housecall Pro in 2025–2026?

  • Plan prices held steady: Basic, Essentials, MAX and the $35 extra user are the same on the pricing page archived September 17, 2025 as today[2][1]. The feature bundles did shift: the 2025 Essentials card listed postcards and email marketing, which the current card does not[2][1].
  • January 2025 (per Housecall Pro’s help article): Local Services Ads and Reserve with Google bookings merged into one Google inbox, and Book Online now opens Housecall Pro’s booking flow[5].
  • February 2026: CSR AI added website chat answering that captures job details and alerts the team, alongside an Accountant AI and custom call reasons in Voice[16].
  • July 15, 2026: HVAC, Plumbing and Electrical packages announced, its first trade-specific packages. Prices were not published[17].

Should you buy Housecall Pro?

  • Likely a fit: an HVAC, plumbing, electrical or cleaning business of one to eight people that wants published prices, no contract, and online booking tied to Google.
  • Think twice: a shop spending real money on Local Services Ads. You will need to reconcile paid LSA bookings against free Reserve with Google bookings outside Housecall Pro.
  • Plan for MAX if you use GoHighLevel, Zapier or any custom integration. The API is MAX-only, so the real starting price for a connected marketing stack is $299 a month.
  • Either way: get written prices for every add-on you saw in the demo, especially Voice, CSR AI, Pipeline and Campaigns.
