Workiz pricing is no longer public. Its three plans, Standard, Pro and Ultimate, all show "Request pricing" on the Workiz pricing page, and there is a 7-day free trial with no credit card[1]. The last archived capture with prices, from May 23, 2025, listed Kickstart at $225, Standard at $275 and Pro at $325 per month on monthly billing, with Ultimate at "Let's talk"[2]. Those are historical prices, not current quotes. The Genius Phone, Genius Answering and Genius Marketing add-ons are sold separately with no published price[1]. The biggest thing to check before signing: the terms of service set a 12-month initial term that auto-renews for another 12 months unless you give written notice at least 30 days before it ends[3].
BaaDigi does not resell Workiz or take a referral fee from any software vendor named on this page. We sell marketing services, including a custom CRM built on GoHighLevel.
What does each Workiz plan cost?
| Plan | Workiz’s published price | Workiz says it is best for | Adds over the plan below |
|---|---|---|---|
| Standard | Request pricing | Growing teams | Scheduling, jobs, estimates and invoices, 5 automations, online payments, service areas, built-in reports, custom fields, subcontractor management, QuickBooks integration |
| Pro | Request pricing | Mid-size teams | Performance pay, 10 automations, Genius leads, Genius scheduling, custom reports |
| Ultimate (labeled “Most popular”) | Request pricing | Multi-location larger teams and franchises | Service plans, 30 automations, sales proposals, inventory, flat rate, checklists, multi-day jobs, franchise management, open API, equipment tracking, purchase orders |
Workiz offers a 7-day free trial that it says includes all features with no commitment[1]. Its pricing FAQ says an annual plan saves "$400+" compared with monthly billing, without saying on which plan[1]. No setup or onboarding fee is published.
Workiz used to publish its prices. Every dollar figure in the next table comes from archived copies of the Workiz pricing page, not from the live page. Treat them as history and as a starting point for negotiation, not as what you will be quoted today.
| Plan (2025 name) | Team size then | Monthly billing | Annual billing (per month) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Lite | Up to 2 members | Free | Free |
| Kickstart | 1–3 members | $225 | $187 |
| Standard | 1–5 members | $275 | $229 |
| Pro (labeled “Best value” then) | 1–5 members | $325 | $270 |
| Ultimate | Not listed | Let’s talk | Let’s talk |
In that May 2025 capture, each extra member cost $46 a month on Standard with annual billing or $55 with monthly billing, and $54 or $65 on Pro[2]. By the June 11, 2026 capture, all three plans already read "Request pricing" and only extra-member prices were left: $55 a month for Standard and $65 for Pro, labeled "annual payment"[4]. The same 2026 capture describes the plans as "Monthly billing, incl. first 5 users"[4], and $55 and $65 were exactly the 2025 monthly-billing rates, so the captures do not show whether the annual extra-member price went up or the label changed. The live page checked in September 2026 no longer shows extra-member prices at all[1].
The free Lite plan and the Kickstart plan no longer appear on the live page[1].
Which Workiz features cost extra?
- Genius Phone, sold separately: the built-in phone system, call insights, smart messaging and ad tracking[1].
- Genius Answering, sold separately: AI that answers calls, texts, email and web forms[1].
- Genius Marketing, sold separately: email and text campaigns plus a Reputation Manager for reviews[1][5].
- Card readers are sold separately[1].
- Online booking is switched on as an add-on from the Feature Center; Workiz does not say whether it costs extra[6].
None of these add-ons has a published price[1]. Workiz says you do not need a Workiz Phone plan to send texts through Genius Marketing, but without one you must turn on on-demand messaging, which charges higher per-message rates than a phone plan[5].
Call tracking by ad source, the feature most marketers want, depends on Genius Phone, which is priced separately. Ask for the phone add-on price in the same written quote as the plan.
What does a Workiz contract lock you into?
From the Workiz terms of service, last updated February 19, 2026. A signed Sales Order can change these terms, so read yours:
- The initial term is 12 months. After that, "this Agreement shall automatically renew for successive twelve (12) month periods" unless you give written notice at least 30 days before the term expires[3].
- Fees are non-refundable[3].
- Prices can go up every year: "Workiz reserves the right to implement an annual fee increase of up to 10% (ten percent), effective on the anniversary date of the applicable Sales Order," with 30 days’ notice[3].
Put a calendar reminder 45 days before your renewal date. Miss the 30-day notice window and you are committed to another 12 months, possibly at up to 10% more.
The terms do not make clear whether a customer on monthly billing is still bound by the 12-month term. Get the answer in writing on your Sales Order.
Can you get your data out of Workiz if you leave?
Workiz does not document a one-click export of your whole account. What it does document is exporting reports: once you save a custom report, you can export it from the Actions menu as a PDF or CSV file[7].
Before you give notice, build and export custom reports for clients, jobs, estimates and invoices as CSV files. Do it while your account is fully active.
How does Workiz track where leads come from?
Lead-source tracking is one of Workiz’s more developed features, as long as you tag your sources. It attaches a lead source to every incoming job or lead as long as the lead comes through a custom UTM link, a tracking phone number or email parsing, and its reports show job volume, revenue and ROI by source[8].
- Call tracking: Workiz asks for a unique phone number for each ad group, and its Call Tracking report shows jobs booked, conversion rate and revenue by source. This runs on Genius Phone, which is sold separately[9].
- Online booking: the booking portal embeds on your site as an iframe from online-booking.workiz.com, and adding an ad_group parameter to the link tags which ad the booking came from[10].
- Reserve with Google: the booking portal can connect to your Google Business Profile, which Workiz says takes about 48 hours[11].
- Google Local Services Ads: the booking portal can connect to LSA. Workiz’s help article still says your business must have a Google Guarantee badge for this[12]. Confirm with Workiz which Google badge it requires today.
- Lead marketplaces: Workiz says it integrates with Angi, Thumbtack and Reserve with Google and tags leads from them automatically[8]. Yelp also appears in the integrations list on its pricing page[1].
- CallRail: CallRail launched a Workiz integration on July 21, 2026, syncing caller data, recordings and transcripts to client records[13].
- Review requests: an automation can text or email your review link after a job is done, and plans cap automations at a total of 5, 10 or 30[1]. Monitoring and replying to Google reviews sits in Genius Marketing, a paid add-on[14][15].
Zapier and API access are unclear. The pricing table marks the Zapier integration and the open API as Ultimate-only[1]. A Workiz help article updated April 21, 2026 says connecting Zapier requires access to the developer API, which is enabled from the Feature Center[16]. Ask which plan and which price that access carries before you count on it.
GoHighLevel: Workiz’s integrations do not include a native GoHighLevel connection that we could find. A third-party app, CRM Connector, sells a Workiz-to-HighLevel contact sync[17].
Where leads lose their source: a booking iframe embedded without the ad_group parameter, a website call to your main number instead of a tracking number, and any lead typed in by hand. Also ask Workiz whether a completed booking inside the iframe is reported back to your page for Google Ads conversion tracking; the help article covers tagging the source, not sending conversions[10].
Connecting Reserve with Google links the Workiz booking page to your Google Business Profile[11]. If an agency already set a booking link on the profile, check which link shows after the connection.
Who is Workiz built for?
Workiz lists HVAC, plumbing, electrical, garage door, locksmith and appliance repair in its industries menu[1]. Its own plan table aims Standard at growing teams, Pro at mid-size teams and Ultimate at multi-location teams and franchises[1].
The company is based in San Diego and traces its start to a couple of San Diego locksmiths who, in 2015, could not find software that fit their business[18]. It is venture-backed; its last announced round was a $40 million Series C led by Lead Edge Capital in November 2021[19].
What do contractors complain about with Workiz?
| Site | Rating | Reviews |
|---|---|---|
| Capterra | 4.4 / 5 | 218 |
| Trustpilot | 1.4 / 5 | 124 |
The gap between the two sites is wide. Across Capterra and Trustpilot reviews, the recurring complaints are pricing that reviewers call deceptive or full of extra fees, cancellation that is hard to get through, slow or missing support, and invoicing errors that affected billing[22][20][21]. One 2026 Trustpilot review reports an entire account disappearing[21]. The recurring praise is easy invoicing by email and text, and an app technicians find simple to use[20][21]. G2 blocked our checks, so its rating is not shown.
What changed at Workiz in 2025–2026?
- Public prices were removed from the pricing page between the May 2025 and June 2026 archived captures, and extra-user prices were gone by September 2026[2][4][1].
- The terms of service dated February 19, 2026 include an annual fee-increase clause of up to 10%[3].
- Help articles for Genius Marketing, including review management, were published in 2026[15].
- Version 2 of the Workiz API now sits alongside version 1, each with its own credentials and documentation[23].
- CallRail added a Workiz integration on July 21, 2026[13].
Should you buy Workiz?
- Likely a fit: a small or mid-size service team, especially in garage door, locksmith, appliance repair or similar trades, that runs ads and wants lead source and revenue by source without paying for an enterprise system.
- Think twice: if you need Zapier or an API connection to your marketing tools and are not on Ultimate, or if a 12-month auto-renewing term does not suit you.
- Either way: get a written quote that lists the plan, every Genius add-on you want, the user count, the billing term and the renewal date. Old prices from 2025 are not a quote.
Frequently asked questions
- Does Workiz publish its pricing?
- No. As of September 2026, the Standard, Pro and Ultimate plans all show request pricing on the Workiz website. Workiz did publish prices in the past: a May 2025 archived copy of its pricing page listed plans from $225 to $325 per month on monthly billing, but those are historical figures, not current quotes.
- Does Workiz have a free trial?
- Yes. Workiz offers a 7-day free trial with no credit card required. The free Lite plan it listed in 2025 no longer appears on its pricing page.
- Can I cancel Workiz anytime?
- Not under the standard terms of service. They set a 12-month initial term that renews automatically for 12 more months unless you give written notice at least 30 days before it ends, and fees are non-refundable. Your signed Sales Order can change this, so check it.
- Can Workiz raise my price?
- Yes. The terms of service dated February 19, 2026 let Workiz raise fees by up to 10% each year on the anniversary of your Sales Order, with 30 days of notice.
- Does Workiz track Google Ads and LSA leads?
- Workiz can tag leads by source through UTM links, tracking phone numbers and email parsing, and report revenue by source. Call tracking runs on the separately priced Genius Phone add-on. Its booking portal can connect to Reserve with Google and to Google Local Services Ads.
- Does Workiz integrate with GoHighLevel or Zapier?
- There is no native GoHighLevel integration; a third-party app called CRM Connector offers a contact sync. The Workiz pricing table lists Zapier and the open API as Ultimate-plan features, while a help article says Zapier needs developer API access, so confirm the plan and price with Workiz.
