How Much Does FieldEdge Cost in 2026?

By Ryan Goering, CEO, BaaDigi · Last updated September 2026 · 21 sources checked

FieldEdge does not publish its prices. Its three plans, Select, Premier and Elite, all say "Request Pricing," and FieldEdge says the price depends on how many technicians or employees you have and which add-ons you need[1]. A pricing roundup published September 2, 2026 by Deepsel, a competing maintenance-software vendor, puts FieldEdge cost at roughly $100–$150 per office user and $100–$125 per technician per month, plus a one-time implementation fee of $500–$6,000; FieldEdge has not confirmed these figures[2]. There is no free trial[1]. The biggest warning is the contract: it auto-renews for 12 months unless you give 60 days’ written notice, and leaving early costs your monthly fee times every month left on the term[3].

BaaDigi does not resell FieldEdge or take a referral fee from any software vendor named on this page. We sell marketing services, including a custom CRM built on GoHighLevel.

What does each FieldEdge plan cost?

FieldEdge plans as listed on its pricing page, checked September 21, 2026[1]

SelectRequest Pricing2Basic dispatching, booking and scheduling, basic agreements and single-option quotes, customer management, pricebook and flat-rate pricing, lead tracking, SMS texting, chat support

EliteRequest Pricing6Unlimited saved reports, outbound call recording, Proposal Pro, MarketingEdge with two-way texting, warehouse inventory (QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise only), consumer portal, dedicated customer success rep

FieldEdge describes Premier as built for "established multi-truck operations" and Elite for "large-scale multi-truck companies"[1]. It does not offer a free trial, saying new members do better when its team walks them through onboarding[1].

Third-party FieldEdge price estimates, compiled by competitor Deepsel from review sites and other vendors’ write-ups, September 2, 2026 (not confirmed by FieldEdge)[2]
Cost itemThird-party estimate (not confirmed)
Office user$100–$150 per user / month
Technician$100–$125 per technician / month
Implementation (one time)$500–$6,000

The same roundup cites a June 2024 Reddit post reporting a $350 monthly bill for one office user and three technicians[2]. One bill is not a price list; treat these as a range to negotiate against.

The pricing page still shows a donation promotion that ended May 31, 2024[1]. Do not assume anything on that page reflects a current offer; get every number in writing.

Which FieldEdge features cost extra?

  • Proposal Pro, MarketingEdge, Academy and the Consumer Management Portal are "Call for Pricing" add-ons on Select and Premier, and included in Elite[1]. The same page also says all plans get an invite to Field Services Academy, so ask what the paid Academy add-on covers[1].
  • Outbound call recording is only on Elite[1].
  • Additional mobile app licenses beyond the included count are listed as a Premier feature, with no published price[1].
  • Xplor Satellite Marketing Services pairs you with a dedicated strategist who gives guidance and helps set up automated email campaigns and forms in MarketingEdge, which you must already have; no price is published[4].

FieldEdge publishes no implementation fee. Its terms say implementation fees fall due immediately, and time-and-materials setup costs can be charged, if go-live slips because of the client[3].

If email and text marketing matter to you, price Elite against Premier plus MarketingEdge. The add-on route is "Call for Pricing," so you need both numbers from sales to compare.

What does a FieldEdge contract lock you into?

FieldEdge’s legal page redirects straight to Xplor’s US SaaS terms, a PDF marked "Last Update: October 2023"[3]. FieldEdge does not say whether a newer version applies to new sign-ups, so ask for the exact terms attached to your order.

  • Auto-renewal: the agreement renews "for successive periods of 12 months" unless either side gives written notice "at least 60 days prior to the expiration"[3].
  • Leaving early: the early termination fee equals "the relevant monthly Fees multiplied by the number of months remaining" in the term[3].
  • Price increases: Xplor can raise fees with at least two months’ notice. If the increase is above CPI, you can exit within 10 days without penalty[3].
  • Downgrades: you can only move to a lower plan at the end of your current contract period[1].

The notice window is 60 days. Set a reminder 75 days before renewal, or you are in for another 12 months.

Can you get your data out of FieldEdge if you leave?

The terms commit FieldEdge’s parent only to "return or delete all Client Personal Data" on reasonable request when the agreement ends[3]. We found no documented self-serve export of customers, jobs or invoices, and no stated export format.

Ask in writing, before you sign, how you would export customers, equipment, agreements, jobs and invoices, in what format, and whether it costs anything.

How does FieldEdge track where leads come from?

FieldEdge has basic lead-source tracking built in. It has no Zapier app, and CallRail and GoHighLevel are not on its partners page[5], but current customers can request access to its Open API[6][7].

  • Lead source: FieldEdge says it tracks lead sources automatically to measure marketing ROI[8].
  • Tracking numbers: unique phone numbers help office staff identify lead sources by territory[9].
  • Online appointment requests: FieldEdge’s future-features page lists "Online Appointment Requests" among features rolling out now, letting customers request service from your website[10]. These are requests, not confirmed bookings. The page does not say which plans include it, and we found no public install guide or embed code.
  • MarketingEdge adds forms and landing pages for capturing prospects, plus automated NPS and review requests[11].
  • Google Local Services Ads: FieldEdge documents no native LSA integration that we found. Free2Grow, an AI answering service that integrates with FieldEdge, says its Speed to Lead feature responds to leads from LSA, Facebook, Angi, Yelp and other channels and can book appointments into FieldEdge[12]. The announcement does not say the LSA lead record itself is passed into FieldEdge.
  • Google Business Profile and Reserve with Google: no integration found on the FieldEdge pages we checked.

Off-the-shelf connectors are the limit. CallRail, Zapier and GoHighLevel do not appear anywhere on the FieldEdge partners page[5], and Zapier’s address for a FieldEdge app returned "not found" when checked on September 21, 2026[13]. So there is no Zapier bridge to a GoHighLevel account and no native CallRail sync.

The workaround is the FieldEdge Open API. Its developer portal has a "Customer API Access" button; email to Xplor’s integrations team is only for partners[14]. The button opens an "Open API Access Request (Customers)" form for current FieldEdge customers, which asks whether the integration is for your business only (including in-house AI tools) or for a third party you have contracted, such as an outside consultant or vendor[6]. The public FieldEdge Open API docs include an endpoint that creates a new lead with customer details, appointment preferences and service information, plus endpoints for customers, work orders, lead sources and webhooks[7]. That makes a custom lead push from a form, call tracker or GoHighLevel into FieldEdge possible once access is granted, but someone has to build it: the form states FieldEdge does not offer development services or implementation help[6]. FieldEdge does not say which plans get API access or whether it costs extra.

On September 15, 2026, FieldEdge announced Free2Grow as the first AI answering solution to integrate with the platform since FieldEdge opened its system to third-party partners, built on a custom API developed with FieldEdge[12]. That is a partner integration, separate from the customer Open API route above.

Where leads lose their source: calls from Google Ads or LSA that ring a main line instead of a tracking number, web form leads that arrive by email and get retyped, and any lead from a tool FieldEdge cannot connect to. If you run a separate CRM or call tracker, either plan for manual entry or request Open API access and budget for a developer to build the lead push; ask whether a lead created through the API can keep its lead source.

Who is FieldEdge built for?

FieldEdge pitches itself to "SMB and Mid-Market Service Leaders in HVAC, Plumbing, and Electrical"[15], and its industries menu also lists locksmith and appliance repair[1]. The plan descriptions point at multi-truck companies[1].

Its roots go back to 1980, when George and Glenn Slay founded Coastal Computer Corporation in Fort Myers and built field service software for HVAC businesses[16]. FieldEdge now sits in the Field Services division of Xplor Technologies and claims more than 40,000 users[16]. On March 30, 2026, Xplor and Clubessential Holdings launched a combined company under the Xplor brand[17].

What do contractors complain about with FieldEdge?

FieldEdge ratings as displayed on each site, September 21, 2026[18][19]
SiteRatingReviews
Capterra4.1 / 5 (ease of use 4.1, customer service 4.4, value 3.9, functionality 3.9)313
Trustpilot1.4 / 546

The recurring complaints are support tickets that get opened and then go quiet, a mobile app that reviewers say technicians struggle with, glitchy accounting integration, and a desktop interface reviewers call dated and less intuitive than rivals[19][18]. An older 2023 Trustpilot review reports tablet GPS failing most of the time[19]. Praise includes easy dispatching and mobile use in an older 2020 review[19], and a customer testimonial hosted by FieldEdge calls it more affordable than some competing brands[20]. G2 blocked our checks, so its rating is not shown.

What changed at FieldEdge in 2026?

  • March 30: parent company Xplor combined with Clubessential Holdings under the Xplor brand[17].
  • July 15: Jonathon Blissenbach was named President of Field Services, leading FieldEdge and Service Autopilot[21].
  • FieldEdge lists online appointment requests and two-way SMS texting among features rolling out now. Mobile 2.0 is still "coming soon," with items in design, testing or development, and FieldEdge says updates to Mobile 1.0 resume only after its "Maui migration" is done[10].
  • September 15: FieldEdge announced the Free2Grow AI answering integration, the first since it opened its system to third-party partners[12].

Should you buy FieldEdge?

  • Likely a fit: an established multi-truck HVAC, plumbing or electrical company that wants dispatch, agreements and flat-rate pricing in one system, and keeps its marketing inside FieldEdge.
  • Think twice: if your leads run through Zapier, CallRail, GoHighLevel or another CRM. As of September 2026 there is no Zapier app, so connecting those tools means requesting customer Open API access and paying someone to build the integration.
  • Either way: get the plan price, per-user and per-technician rates, the implementation fee, the terms version and the export process in writing. Note the 60-day renewal notice.

Frequently asked questions

Does FieldEdge publish its pricing?
No. FieldEdge lists three plans, Select, Premier and Elite, all marked Request Pricing, and says the price depends on team size and add-ons. A third-party roundup from September 2026 estimates $100–$150 per office user and $100–$125 per technician per month, plus $500–$6,000 for implementation, but FieldEdge has not confirmed those figures.
Does FieldEdge have a free trial?
No. FieldEdge says it does not offer a free trial because new customers do better when its team walks them through onboarding.
Can I cancel FieldEdge early?
Under the Xplor terms that FieldEdge’s legal page points to, dated October 2023, the contract renews for 12-month periods unless you give written notice at least 60 days before it ends. Leaving early costs the monthly fee multiplied by the months remaining in the term.
Does FieldEdge integrate with Zapier or GoHighLevel?
Not out of the box as of September 2026. There is no FieldEdge app on Zapier and GoHighLevel is not on the FieldEdge partners page. Current customers can request access to the FieldEdge Open API, which includes a create-lead endpoint, so a custom connection from GoHighLevel is possible, but you or a contractor you hire has to build it; FieldEdge does not provide development help.
Does FieldEdge work with Google Local Services Ads?
FieldEdge does not document a native Local Services Ads integration. Free2Grow, an AI answering service that announced a direct FieldEdge integration on September 15, 2026, says it responds to LSA leads and can book appointments into FieldEdge.
