The best CRM for electricians is Jobber or Housecall Pro for a one- or two-van residential shop, Service Fusion or Workiz for a crew that mixes service calls with contract work, and ServiceTitan for multi-location or commercial-heavy companies. Your split between residential service and commercial contracts decides it, because the six field service CRMs that list electrical divide along that line. Jobber ($29–$49 a month for one user) and Housecall Pro ($59–$79) publish prices and have no long-term contract[1][2]. For panel upgrades by day and tenant-improvement work by contract, Service Fusion publishes flat prices from $245 a month with unlimited users and puts progress billing on its $627 Pro plan[3], and Workiz lists multi-day jobs and subcontractor management[4]. ServiceTitan says it is "not residential-only or service-only" and covers commercial construction and commercial service, at an unpublished per-technician price that user reports put at $245–$500 a month plus implementation[5][6]. One warning: none of the six pricing pages we read mentions permits or inspections, so make each vendor show where a permit number, inspection date and result live on the job before you sign.
BaaDigi does not resell any CRM named on this page or take a referral fee from any software vendor named on this page. We sell marketing services, including a custom CRM built on GoHighLevel.
How do the six electrician CRMs compare on price, contract, export and lead tracking?
Electrical shows up on all six vendors’ sites: ServiceTitan’s residential trade list[7], FieldEdge’s home page[8], Housecall Pro’s pricing page and the electrical package it announced July 15, 2026 without a price[2][9], and the industry menus at Jobber, Workiz and Service Fusion[1][4][10].
| Vendor | Published price | Contract / cancellation | Data export if you leave | Lead-source tracking (LSA / Google Business Profile / call tracking / UTM) | Best fit |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| ServiceTitan | Request pricing on Starter, Essentials and The Works[7]. User-reported estimate (not confirmed), compiled by competitor Projul: $245–$500 per tech / month plus $5,000–$15,000 implementation for small companies[6] | Early termination fee equals all remaining payments; seats committed are paid for the whole term[11] | Customer list to Excel while active[12]; after the term "commercially reasonable efforts," fees may apply, 60-day retention[11] | Tracking number per campaign[13]; Google Ads click ID stored and lead calls sent back as conversions[14]; LSA bookings automatic[15]; Reserve with Google included[16]; CallRail on the marketplace[17]; no native GoHighLevel sync[18] | Multi-location or commercial-plus-residential electrical contractors with a dispatcher[5] |
| FieldEdge | Request Pricing on Select, Premier and Elite[19]. Third-party estimate (not confirmed), compiled by competitor Deepsel: $100–$150 per office user, $100–$125 per tech / month, $500–$6,000 implementation[20] | 12-month auto-renewal, 60 days’ written notice to stop; early exit costs the monthly fee times the months left[21] | No documented self-serve export; terms promise to return or delete Client Personal Data on request[21] | Lead sources tracked inside FieldEdge[22]; numbers by territory[23]; no native LSA or Reserve with Google found; no Zapier app[24]; Open API create-lead endpoint, build it yourself[25] | Established multi-truck operations in HVAC, plumbing and electrical[19][8] |
| Housecall Pro | Basic $59–$79 (1 user), Essentials $149–$189 (5), MAX $299–$329 (8, then $35 per user) per month[2] | No long-term contract[2] | Admins export Customers and Jobs to CSV[26] | Lead Source field, auto-filled for system sources[27]; LSA and Reserve with Google connected free, "not differentiated"[28]; Voice call tracking from $45 / month[29]; CallRail on Essentials and up[30]; Zapier and API on MAX only[2] | One to eight people, residential service[2] |

| Workiz | Request pricing on Standard, Pro and Ultimate[4]. Historical only: $225–$325 / month on the page archived May 23, 2025[37] | 12-month initial term, auto-renews 12 months unless 30 days’ notice; non-refundable; up to 10% annual increase[38] | Saved custom reports to PDF or CSV[39] | Lead source by UTM link, tracking number or email parsing; revenue and ROI by source[40]; call tracking on the separately priced Genius Phone[41]; booking portal connects to LSA[42] and Reserve with Google[43]; Zapier and API listed as Ultimate-only on the pricing table[4], while a help article says Zapier needs developer API access switched on; confirm the plan and price[44] | Growing teams with subcontractors and multi-day jobs that run ads[4] |

Do any of these CRMs track permits and inspections?
Not on any pricing page we read. A panel upgrade, a service change or an EV charger circuit needs a permit pulled, an inspection scheduled, and a pass or a correction recorded before the final invoice goes out: three dates and a status that belong on the job. Not one of the six pricing pages names permits or inspections. Here is what they do offer that you can bend to the purpose.
- Job checklists: Jobber puts job checklists on Connect[1]. Housecall Pro puts checklist automations on Essentials[2]. Workiz lists checklists on Ultimate[4]. A checklist can hold "permit pulled" and "inspection passed" as steps, but it will not hold the permit number or the inspection date as a field you can report on.
- Custom fields: Workiz lists custom fields on Standard, its entry plan[4]. That is the closest thing on any pricing page to a place for a permit number.
- Custom documents: Service Fusion sells custom documents and eSign as add-ons and includes them on Pro[3], which fits an inspection sign-off or a customer acknowledgment.
- Multi-day jobs: Workiz lists multi-day jobs on Ultimate[4]. Rough-in, inspection, finish is three visits over days or weeks. Ask every other vendor how one job holds three visits with a hold between them.
Ask each vendor to build one job in the demo: a 200-amp service change with a permit number, a scheduled inspection, a failed first inspection and a correction visit. If the permit number ends up in a notes field, your reports will never find it.
Which electrician CRMs support option-based estimating?
Electricians price by assembly: a circuit is wire, breaker, box, device and labor, and a customer usually gets a good, better, best choice. Whether the CRM can build a quote from a priced task list and show options changes which plan you need.
| Vendor | Pricebook | Options on one quote | Plan |
|---|---|---|---|
| ServiceTitan | Pricebook on Starter[7]; Pricebook Pro is a separate Pro module[5] | Mobile estimates on Essentials[7] | Starter for the pricebook, Essentials for mobile estimates[7] |
| FieldEdge | Pricebook and flat-rate pricing on Select[19] | Single-option quotes on Select; multi-option quotes on Premier; Proposal Pro as an add-on or on Elite[19] | Premier for multi-option[19] |
| Housecall Pro | Price book on Basic; flat-rate pricing on Essentials[2] | Sales proposal tool on MAX[2] | Basic for the price book, MAX for proposals[2] |
| Jobber | Not named on the pricing page[1] | Quotes with visuals and optional line items on Grow[1] | Grow, $149–$199 for one user[1] |
| Workiz | Flat rate on Ultimate[4] | Sales proposals on Ultimate[4] | Ultimate[4] |
| Service Fusion | Not on the plan table; estimates and jobs on Starter[3]. A separate Flat Rate integration powered by Profit Rhino is sold with no published price[50] | Custom documents and eSign on Pro[3] | Starter for estimates, Pro for eSign[3]; ask which plan the Flat Rate integration needs[50] |
FieldEdge is the only vendor that draws the line between single-option and multi-option quotes on its pricing page, and it puts the multi-option version one tier up[19]. Jobber’s optional line items on Grow are the cheapest published route to a quote the customer can toggle, at $149–$199 a month for one user[1]. Neither Jobber nor Service Fusion names a pricebook on its plan table, so ask both how a priced assembly list is stored and reused, and ask Service Fusion what the Profit Rhino integration costs.
Residential service or commercial contracts: which CRM fits the mix?
Most electrical contractors are not purely one or the other. Service calls pay the bills while a tenant-improvement or new-construction contract runs for weeks and bills by stage. The vendor pages are clear about which side they were built for.
- ServiceTitan positions itself across commercial construction, commercial service, residential service and exteriors, and says it is "not residential-only or service-only"[5]. In 2026 management said it "elected to tighten our focus on existing commercial trades" rather than add new ones[51].
- Service Fusion’s trade list covers residential and commercial service work[10], and its Pro plan adds progress billing, recurring invoicing, a customer web portal and eSign[3]. That is the only published progress-billing feature among the six.
- Workiz lists subcontractor management on Standard and franchise management on Ultimate[4], which matters if you sub out low-voltage or trenching.
- Housecall Pro lists commercial services alongside its residential trades[2], but its published plans stop at eight included users[2].
- Jobber lists "construction and contracting" and electrical in its industry list[1]; its self-serve pricing stops at 15 users[1].
- FieldEdge pitches "SMB and Mid-Market Service Leaders" in HVAC, plumbing and electrical[8]. Nothing on its pricing page describes contract billing[19].
If more than a quarter of revenue is contract work billed by stage, Service Fusion Pro and ServiceTitan are the two with published or stated commercial fit. If commercial is occasional, buy for the service side and ask how a deposit and a final invoice on one job are handled.
Generator and EV charger installs: what does the CRM need to do?
A standby generator or a Level 2 charger is a four- or five-figure ticket with a deposit, an install day, an inspection, and often a maintenance plan afterward. It is the residential job that behaves like a commercial one. The pieces are spread across plans:
- Deposits and staged payment: Service Fusion puts progress billing on Pro[3]. Its review request fires only when an invoice is paid in full, and deposits do not trigger one[52]. No other pricing page names a deposit workflow; ask.
- Financing: Housecall Pro lists consumer financing on Basic[2]. Service Fusion sells Homeowner Financing through Acorn Finance, shown on estimates, jobs and invoices, with $0 dealer fees, $1K–$100K loans from 30+ lenders, and no availability in Massachusetts[53]. No other vendor plan table we read mentions it.
- Signatures: Service Fusion includes eSign on Pro and sells it as an add-on below[3]. Ask the others how a customer signs a generator proposal from a phone.
- The equipment record: Workiz lists equipment tracking on Ultimate[4]. A generator needs its serial, install date and warranty on the property so the annual service reminder fires. Nothing else on the pricing pages we read names installed-equipment records.
- The maintenance plan afterward: ServiceTitan puts customizable memberships on The Works[7], Housecall Pro recurring service plans on MAX[2], Workiz service plans on Ultimate[4], and FieldEdge basic agreements on Select with advanced agreements on Premier[19].
A shop that sells generators and chargers ends up on the top plan of most of these vendors. Price Housecall Pro at MAX, Workiz at Ultimate and Service Fusion at Pro, not at their entry tiers[2][4][3].
How does each CRM track where electrical leads come from?
Electrical leads arrive three ways: a quote-request form for a project, a phone call for a service problem, and a referral from a general contractor or property manager. Each loses its source in a different place.
- Quote-request forms: Jobber labels the lead source from UTM parameters on the form link and reports quotes, job value and conversion rate by source, medium, campaign and content[32]. Workiz sets the source from a UTM link and reports revenue by source[40]. Housecall Pro tags jobs booked through a link with a tracking attribute, which is a job tag, not the Lead Source field, and its help pages never mention UTM[54][27]. FieldEdge has no Zapier app, so a web form lead arrives by email or through a custom build on its Open API[24][25].
- Service calls: ServiceTitan, Housecall Pro (Voice, from $45 a month), Workiz (Genius Phone, sold separately) and Service Fusion (ServiceCall.ai, unpriced) sell tracking numbers[13][29][41][46]. Jobber relies on CallRail[33].
- Referrals: a GC who texts you a job has no UTM and no tracking number. Every one of these systems depends on the office typing the source in. Housecall Pro has a Lead Source field on every customer, job and estimate[27]; Jobber and Workiz report by lead source[32][40]. Ask each vendor how a source is entered by hand, then make "referral: name" a required habit or your best channel will show up as blank.
- Google Local Services Ads: ServiceTitan brings bookings in automatically[15]; Jobber and Workiz book through their portals[34][42]; Housecall Pro mixes paid LSA and free Reserve with Google bookings in one inbox[28]; Service Fusion uses partner LSArespond[47]; FieldEdge relies on partner Free2Grow to respond to LSA leads[55].
Jobber connects your Google Business Profile booking link automatically on all plans, citing its terms of service; you disable it to opt out[35]. If your marketer placed a tracked link on the profile, check it the day you connect. And note ServiceTitan’s July 2026 terms: customers may not let a third party, "including by or through any AI Agent," use the software on their behalf, which can cover an agency working in your account[11].
Which CRM should an electrical contractor buy?
- Solo or 1–2 vans, residential service: Jobber on Grow for optional line items on quotes and UTM attribution built in[1][32], or Housecall Pro on Essentials for a price book, flat-rate pricing and checklists at published prices with no contract[2]. Add CallRail or Voice if the phone is your main channel[33][29].
- 3–10 electricians, mixed residential and light commercial: Service Fusion if you bill in stages and headcount changes, at $245–$627 a month flat with unlimited users, knowing call tracking is an unpriced add-on[3][46]. Workiz if you use subs, run multi-day jobs and want revenue by ad source, on a 12-month term that can rise up to 10% a year[4][38]. FieldEdge if agreements and multi-option quotes matter most and marketing stays inside it[19].
- Multi-location or commercial-heavy: ServiceTitan, the one vendor of the six that states a commercial construction and commercial service fit and ties Google Ads, LSA and tracking numbers to job revenue[5][14][13]. Get the per-tech price, implementation fee, seat minimum and every Pro module in writing; leaving early costs all remaining payments[11].
- Everyone: decide where the permit number lives before you sign, since no pricing page here offers a field for it. And download your customer list before you ever cancel; ServiceTitan, FieldEdge and Service Fusion each treat the export after cancellation as a favor or a paid service[11][21][45].
Frequently asked questions
- What is the best CRM for a small electrical contractor?
- For one or two vans doing residential service, Jobber and Housecall Pro publish prices, sell month to month and offer free trials. Jobber Core starts at $29–$49 a month for one user, and its Grow plan adds optional line items on quotes at $149–$199. Housecall Pro Basic is $59–$79 with a price book, and Essentials at $149–$189 adds flat-rate pricing and checklists.
- Do any electrician CRMs track permits and inspections?
- None of the six vendors, ServiceTitan, FieldEdge, Housecall Pro, Jobber, Workiz or Service Fusion, mentions permits or inspections on its pricing page. Workiz lists custom fields on its entry plan and multi-day jobs on Ultimate, and Jobber and Housecall Pro offer job checklists. Ask each vendor to show a permit number and inspection date on a job before you buy.
- Which electrician CRM handles commercial work and progress billing?
- Service Fusion is the only one of the six that publishes progress billing, on its Pro plan at $627 a month or $533 billed annually, along with a customer web portal and eSign. ServiceTitan says it covers commercial construction and commercial service and is not residential-only, but it publishes no prices. Workiz lists subcontractor management and multi-day jobs.
- Which CRM is best for electricians who quote good, better, best options?
- FieldEdge puts multi-option quotes on its Premier plan and single-option quotes on Select. Jobber offers optional line items on quotes on Grow, Housecall Pro has a sales proposal tool on MAX, and Workiz lists sales proposals on Ultimate. ServiceTitan puts mobile estimates on Essentials and sells Pricebook Pro separately.
- How much does electrician CRM software cost?
- Published electrician CRM prices start at $29 a month for one user on Jobber Core and top out at $627 a month for unlimited users on Service Fusion Pro. ServiceTitan, FieldEdge and Workiz do not publish prices. User-reported estimates, not confirmed by the vendors, put ServiceTitan at $245–$500 per technician per month plus a $5,000–$15,000 implementation fee and FieldEdge at $100–$125 per technician per month.
- Which electrician CRM tracks leads from quote-request forms?
- Jobber reads UTM parameters from its form links and reports quotes, job value and conversion rate by source, medium, campaign and content. Workiz sets the lead source from UTM links and reports revenue by source. Housecall Pro tags booked jobs with a tracking attribute rather than UTM. FieldEdge has no Zapier app, so form leads need its Open API or manual entry.
