What Is the Best CRM for Plumbing Companies in 2026?

By Ryan Goering, CEO, BaaDigi · Last updated September 2026 · 63 sources checked

The best CRM for plumbing companies is Housecall Pro for a phone-first shop with one or two trucks, Jobber if leads arrive by web form, FieldEdge, Workiz or Service Fusion for 3–10 techs with an office, and ServiceTitan for multi-location work. The plumbing test is the phone: the CRM has to catch the 11 p.m. burst-pipe call and know which ad made it ring, and on that test the six split in two. ServiceTitan, Housecall Pro, Workiz and Service Fusion sell their own tracking numbers, at Housecall Pro as a $45-a-month Voice add-on, at Workiz as the separately priced Genius Phone, and at Service Fusion as the unpriced ServiceCall.ai add-on[1][2][3][4]. Jobber has no native call tracking that we found and relies on CallRail; FieldEdge offers unique numbers by territory but no Zapier or CallRail connection[5][6][7][8]. On price, Jobber starts at $29–$49 a month and Housecall Pro at $59–$79, both without a long-term contract[9][10]. One catch: a flat-rate pricebook, which keeps emergency pricing consistent across techs, sits on the entry plan at FieldEdge, on Essentials ($149–$189) at Housecall Pro, and on the top plan at Workiz[11][10][12].

BaaDigi does not resell any CRM named on this page or take a referral fee from any software vendor named on this page. We sell marketing services, including a custom CRM built on GoHighLevel.

How do the six plumbing CRMs compare on price, contract, export and lead tracking?

All six vendors name plumbing on their own sites: ServiceTitan in its residential trade list[13], FieldEdge on its home page[14], Housecall Pro on its pricing page and in the trade packages it announced July 15, 2026[10][15], and Jobber, Workiz and Service Fusion in their industry lists[9][12][16]. The table reads each against the same five questions.

Which plumbing CRMs answer the phone after hours?

Emergency plumbing is a phone business, and the call comes when the office is closed. Five of the six vendors sell or partner on some form of AI call answering, ServiceTitan lists a call-center add-on its pages do not describe as AI, and only one of them prints a price.

Call answering and phone tools by vendor, from each vendor’s own pages
VendorAfter-hours answeringPublished price
ServiceTitanContact Center Pro, a Pro add-on module; the vendor pages we read do not describe it as AI answering[49]None; each Pro product starts with a demo[50]
FieldEdgeFree2Grow, a partner AI answering service that says it responds to LSA, Facebook, Angi and Yelp leads and books into FieldEdge (announced September 15, 2026)[51]Not published
Housecall ProCSR AI answers calls and chat; VoIP phone with call tracking through Voice[10][2]CSR AI unpriced[10]; Voice from $65 / month with VoIP, $45 for call tracking alone[2]
JobberAI Receptionist[9]; CallRail Voice Assist can book calls straight into the Jobber calendar since July 2026[52]$29 / month add-on, included in Plus[9]
WorkizGenius Answering handles calls, texts, email and web forms; Genius Phone is the phone system[12]Both sold separately, no published price[12]
Service FusionZyraTalk, a sister product under EverPro, answers calls and website chat and books into Service Fusion[53]Not published[53]

That one is Jobber, at $29 a month[9]. Everyone else quotes it. Since the answering service is what turns an after-hours call into a booked job, get its price in the same written quote as the plan, and ask whether a job it books keeps the lead source of the number that was called.

A tracking number only works if the emergency line is one. If your after-hours calls forward to an on-call tech’s cell, or the answering service dials out from its own number, the job that gets created may carry no source at all. Test one after-hours call from each ad channel before you trust the report.

Which plumbing CRMs include a flat-rate pricebook?

Flat-rate pricing is how a plumbing company quotes a water heater the same way at 2 p.m. and 2 a.m., whichever tech shows up. Whether the pricebook is on the entry plan changes the real starting price of each vendor.

  • FieldEdge: pricebook and flat-rate pricing on Select, the entry plan[11].
  • Housecall Pro: price book on Basic at $59–$79; flat-rate pricing is listed on Essentials at $149–$189[10].
  • ServiceTitan: pricebook on Starter, the entry package[13]; Pricebook Pro is a separately sold Pro module[49].
  • Workiz: flat rate is on Ultimate, the top plan[12].
  • Jobber: no flat-rate pricebook is named on its pricing page; Grow adds optional line items on quotes[9]. Ask the vendor how it handles a fixed-price task list.
  • Service Fusion: estimates and jobs are on Starter, but the plan table does not name a flat-rate pricebook[44]. Service Fusion sells a separate Flat Rate integration powered by Profit Rhino, pitched at HVAC, plumbing and electrical, with no published price[54]. Ask which plan it needs and what it costs.

A plumber comparing Housecall Pro Basic at $59 with Workiz on price alone is comparing the wrong plans. Flat-rate pricing is on Housecall Pro Essentials and on Workiz Ultimate[10][12]. Compare the plan that has the pricebook.

Drain and sewer camera jobs: where do the photos and videos go?

A sewer camera inspection produces a video, a location note and, often, a multi-day repair with a deposit. Little of the vendor material we read describes video handling, so here is what the pricing pages say and what you have to ask.

  • Photos on the job record: Housecall Pro puts photo reports on Essentials[10]. Service Fusion sells job photo uploads as an add-on below Plus and includes them on Plus[44]. Jobber puts quotes with visuals on Grow[9]. Ask each vendor whether a camera video file, not only a photo, attaches to the job and whether the customer can view it from the estimate.
  • Multi-day repairs: Workiz lists multi-day jobs on Ultimate[12]. Service Fusion puts progress billing and recurring invoicing on Pro[44]. None of the other pricing pages we read names multi-day or progress billing; for a sewer line replacement, ask how a three-day job with a deposit is scheduled and invoiced.
  • Deposits and review timing: Service Fusion’s review request fires when an invoice is paid in full, and its announcement says deposits and progress-billing invoices do not trigger one[55]. A sewer job paid in stages will ask for a review only at the final payment, if at all.
  • Multi-option repair quotes: FieldEdge sells multi-option quotes on Premier[11], Jobber optional line items on Grow[9], and Housecall Pro its sales proposal tool on MAX[10]. Spot repair, section replacement or full line: the CRM should present all three from one visit.

Do these CRMs handle plumbing maintenance memberships?

Water heater flushes and annual drain-cleaning plans are the plumbing version of the HVAC maintenance agreement, and the plan tiers treat them the same way. FieldEdge includes basic agreements on Select and advanced service agreements on Premier[11]. ServiceTitan puts customizable memberships on The Works[13], Housecall Pro puts recurring service plans on MAX[10], and Workiz puts service plans on Ultimate[12]. Service Fusion offers recurring invoicing on Pro, and reviewers say its service-plan reporting is weak[44][56]. Jobber’s pricing page does not name memberships; ask the vendor[9].

Where does the booking widget live?

A CRM’s booking form is only useful if it is on your website and on your Google profile, so the website platform matters. In BaaDigi’s September 2026 study of contractor websites that AI assistants recommended, 55.6% of the plumbing, drain and septic sites (n=45, 95% interval 41.2–69.1%) ran on WordPress; the trade figures include BaaDigi-built sites[57]. That is a correlation, not a cause, and the interval is wide, but it means many plumbers will be embedding a widget into WordPress.

  • Jobber: request and booking forms embed by HTML, a WordPress plugin or a Wix plugin, or share as a link[58].
  • Housecall Pro: a "Book online" button opens the booking flow in a pop-up, plus a hosted booking link and an embeddable Lead Form[31][59].
  • Workiz: the booking portal embeds as an iframe, and an ad_group parameter on the link tags the source[60].
  • ServiceTitan: the booking widget moved to a new embed script in 2026, with the older Schedule Engine embed still documented[61].
  • FieldEdge: "Online Appointment Requests" is listed among features rolling out now; these are requests, not confirmed bookings, and we found no public embed code[62].
  • Service Fusion: ServiceChat.ai is a "text me back" widget pasted into your site that feeds the ServiceCall.ai inbox[63]; we found no self-serve booking embed on the Service Fusion pages we read.

Jobber connects its booking form to your Google Business Profile automatically on all plans, and you disable it to opt out[35]. Workiz’s Reserve with Google connection also links its booking page to the profile[42]. If your marketer already put a tracked booking link on the profile, check which link is live the day you connect.

Which CRM should a plumbing company buy?

  • Solo or 1–2 trucks, phone-first: Housecall Pro Essentials plus Voice. That gets flat-rate pricing, published prices, no contract and tracking numbers for about $194–$234 a month at list ($149–$189 plus $45)[10][2]. Reconcile paid LSA against free Reserve with Google bookings in your Google account, because Housecall Pro does not separate them[30].
  • Solo or 1–2 trucks, web-form-first: Jobber. UTM attribution on forms is built in, and the AI Receptionist is a printed $29 a month[33][9]. Add CallRail if the phone matters[5].
  • 3–10 techs with an office: FieldEdge if agreements and flat-rate on the entry plan matter more than marketing connections, on a 12-month auto-renewing term[11][25]. Workiz if you run ads and want revenue by source, budgeting for Genius Phone and Ultimate for flat rate[40][12]. Service Fusion if your crew count swings and you want one flat price, accepting that call tracking is an unpriced add-on[44][4].
  • Multi-location: ServiceTitan, for tracking numbers, LSA, Reserve with Google and Google Ads conversion sync in one system[1][21][20]. Get the per-tech price, implementation fee and every Pro module in writing, because leaving early costs all remaining payments[18].

Frequently asked questions

What is the best CRM for a plumbing company that gets most leads by phone?
Pick one with its own tracking numbers. ServiceTitan creates a number per campaign; Housecall Pro sells call tracking through Voice from $45 a month; Workiz runs call tracking on its separately priced Genius Phone; Service Fusion sells the unpriced ServiceCall.ai add-on. Jobber has no native call tracking we found and uses CallRail. FieldEdge offers unique numbers by territory but has no Zapier app, and CallRail does not appear on its partners page.
Which plumbing CRM has flat-rate pricing on its cheapest plan?
FieldEdge includes a pricebook and flat-rate pricing on Select, its entry plan, and ServiceTitan includes a pricebook on Starter. Housecall Pro lists a price book on Basic but flat-rate pricing on Essentials at $149–$189 a month. Workiz puts flat rate on Ultimate, its top plan. Jobber does not name a flat-rate pricebook on its pricing page. Service Fusion’s plan table does not name one either, but it sells a Flat Rate integration powered by Profit Rhino with no published price.
Which plumbing CRM offers after-hours AI call answering?
Five of the six offer or partner on it. Jobber’s AI Receptionist is the only one with a published price, $29 a month or included in Plus. Housecall Pro’s CSR AI, Workiz’s Genius Answering and Service Fusion’s ZyraTalk are unpriced, and FieldEdge relies on a partner, Free2Grow. ServiceTitan sells Contact Center Pro as an unpriced Pro add-on, but the vendor pages we read do not describe it as AI answering.
How much does plumbing CRM software cost?
For a plumbing company, the published range is $29 a month on Jobber Core (one user) to $627 a month on Service Fusion Pro (unlimited users). ServiceTitan, FieldEdge and Workiz quote by sales call. User-reported estimates the vendors have not confirmed put ServiceTitan at $245–$500 per technician per month plus implementation, and FieldEdge at $100–$125 per technician per month.
Can a plumbing CRM attach sewer camera video to a job?
The vendor pricing pages describe photos, not video. Housecall Pro lists photo reports on Essentials, Service Fusion sells job photo uploads as an add-on and includes them on Plus, and Jobber lists quotes with visuals on Grow. Ask each vendor directly whether a video file attaches to the job record and whether the customer can view it from the estimate.
Which plumbing CRM can I leave without a penalty?
Housecall Pro has no long-term contract, and Jobber’s no-commitment monthly plan cancels anytime. Workiz and FieldEdge use 12-month auto-renewing terms; FieldEdge charges the monthly fee times the months left, and Workiz’s fees are non-refundable. ServiceTitan charges every remaining payment if you leave early. Service Fusion’s pricing page says month to month, but its agreement auto-renews for periods equal to the initial term with 30 days’ notice.
