Comparison Guide
Which Garage Door Marketing Agency Is Worth Hiring in 2026?
Garage door is the trade where Google itself intervened: garage door advertisers in the U.S. must pass Advanced Verification and re-verify every twelve months, lead-generation landing pages must show price ranges in the top fifth of the page, and the International Door Association runs a standing scam-awareness campaign, all because fake "local" garage door companies flooded the category. That is the backdrop for choosing an agency. On 2026-09-11 we asked Perplexity, ChatGPT with web search and Google's Gemini ten questions a garage door owner would type, thirty answers, and counted the agencies named. Hook Agency led with 20, RYNO Strategic Solutions (Blue Corona until 2024) 19, CI Web Group 13, Garagify and Door & Gate Domination 10 each. BaaDigi: 0. Unusually for a trade, three agencies publish full rate cards, so this page can compare real prices.

The Short Answer
Garage door companies have more published pricing to compare than any other trade. Garage Door Marketers (Cincinnati, since 2022) publishes four tiers from $495 to $4,995 a month, month-to-month, with a 30-day refund on the first $495. Blue Grid Media publishes LSA management at $445 a month, Google Ads from $695 and a bundle at $995 with no setup fee, month-to-month. CI Web Group, the most-cited garage door source in our test, says entry plans start around $600 a month plus a build, with no term contracts and 30 days notice. The agencies AI engines name most, Hook and RYNO, publish partial pricing (Hook: local SEO $2,800, PPC $2,000; Blue Corona: $2,500 to over $10,000 a month) and no term. BaaDigi runs $297–$3,997 a month. Judge any of them against the benchmarks that matter in this trade: about $173 per non-brand Google Ads lead, about $42 per LSA lead, and roughly $198 per paying LSA customer.

Searchlight Digital's 2026 benchmark across 11 garage door contractors and $661,396 of Google Ads spend put the blended cost per lead at $145, non-brand at $173 average and $168 median, and brand at $66. Its LSA benchmark across 12 contractors and $123,399 of spend put cost per lead at $49 average and $42 median, with a 37.8% booking rate and about $198 per paying customer. Vendor claims of $15–$35 LSA leads do not publish a method. Google's LSA credit policy does not refund price-shoppers, cancellations or no-callbacks, so answer rate decides the real cost.

How we tested which agencies AI engines actually recommend
On 2026-09-11 we asked ten questions a garage door owner might type, including "Best marketing agency for garage door companies?", "Which marketing agency gets garage door companies the most leads?" and "Which garage door marketing agencies publish their pricing?", to Perplexity (sonar), ChatGPT with web search (gpt-4o) and Google's Gemini with Search grounding. Thirty answers, all returned. We counted each answer that named an agency and merged Blue Corona into RYNO because they merged in 2024. BaaDigi: 0 of 30. Two agencies the engines named, Disruptive Advertising and 1SEO, we did not review on their own sites, and the table says so.
What the engines cited: CI Web Group's guide (31 citations), The Stacc's list (30) and Hook's list (23). All five lists we read rank their own publisher first; CI Web Group discloses it. The prices those lists quote for each other disagree with what the agencies publish themselves, which is why every figure on this page comes from the agency's own site.
Why garage door advertising has rules no other trade has
Fake "local" garage door companies, false verification and bought reviews got bad enough that Google and the FTC took action, and the International Door Association runs a permanent scam-awareness campaign. Google now requires U.S. garage door advertisers to pass Advanced Verification and re-verify every twelve months, and lead-generation landing pages must show price ranges in the top 20% of the page. The FTC ordered HomeAdvisor to pay up to $7.2 million over deceptive lead-quality claims. An agency working in this trade should be able to explain Advanced Verification, keep your ad accounts in your name with the agency as a removable manager, and report brand, non-brand and LSA separately, because brand clicks at $66 make a blended number look better than it is.
What garage door owners complain about after they sign
**Out-of-area and dead leads.** An owner on r/GarageDoorService reported a $500 campaign that produced 12 leads 60–70 miles away; another spent $800 on Facebook for four dead leads. **The same lead sold to three to seven companies** on marketplaces. **Refused credits and billing during cancellation**, and a 12-month term where six was requested with over $1,000 to cancel, from BBB reviews of a lead marketplace rated 1.95 out of 5 across 2,213 reviews. **Agency-held ad accounts and tracking numbers.** Google's own LSA policy adds a structural one: price-shoppers, cancellations and no-callbacks are generally not credited, so a slow answer is paid for either way.
The numbers to judge any agency against
Google Ads: $145 blended cost per lead, $173 non-brand average and $168 median, $66 brand, across 11 contractors and $661,396 of spend in early 2026. One contractor was about half that spend, so treat the ranges as directional. **LSA**: $49 average and $42 median per lead across 12 contractors, a 37.8% booking rate and about $198 per paying customer. **Retainers**: LSA-only management from $445, Ads plus LSA from $995, SEO $695–$1,995 with setup $0–$495, full-service from about $4,000 a month. **Terms**: month-to-month to 12 months, with SEO commonly 6–12. If a proposal's cost per booked job is not somewhere near these, ask why.
How to choose by size
Owner-operator, one or two trucks: published flat pricing with no term. Blue Grid Media ($445–$995, paid search only), Garage Door Marketers ($495–$1,495), CI Web Group (from about $600) and BaaDigi ($297–$497) all fit. Get Advanced Verification done and the Google Business Profile complete before any of them.
Three to ten trucks: $1,500–$5,000 a month. Garage Door Marketers' Growth tier, Hook's per-service pricing, CI Web Group and BaaDigi's Predictability engine ($1,397) sit here.
Multi-market: RYNO/Blue Corona ($2,500 to over $10,000) and Hook are the agencies AI engines name most for this size.
**Do not hire anyone yet** if you have not passed Advanced Verification, your landing pages show no price ranges, or the phone is not answered on the first ring during business hours. Every agency here will charge you to fix those.

Frequently Asked Questions
Which garage door marketing agencies publish their pricing?
Garage Door Marketers (four tiers from $495 to $4,995 a month with setup fees stated), Blue Grid Media (LSA $445, Google Ads from $695, bundle $995, no setup) and CI Web Group (entry plans from about $600 a month plus a build) publish full or near-full rate cards. Hook publishes per-service prices (local SEO $2,800, PPC $2,000, Meta $3,000, AEO $4,000). Blue Corona's garage door page says $2,500 to over $10,000 a month. WebFX publishes garage door PPC from $750 a month. BaaDigi publishes $297, $497, $1,397 and $3,997 engines. GD Marketing Lab, Garagify, Door & Gate Domination, Rival Digital and Scorpion do not publish pricing.
What is Google Advanced Verification for garage door companies?
A mandatory identity and business verification for garage door advertisers in the United States, introduced after fake local garage door companies flooded Google Ads. Advertisers must complete it before ads run and re-verify every twelve months; lead-generation landing pages must show price ranges in the top 20% of the page. An agency that runs garage door ads should know the process cold, keep the verified account in your business's name, and never run your ads from its own account.
How much should a garage door company spend on marketing?
Judge spend by cost per booked job rather than by a percentage. Searchlight Digital's 2026 benchmarks put a non-brand Google Ads lead at about $173 and an LSA lead at about $42 with a 37.8% booking rate, so roughly $198 per paying LSA customer. Third-party guides put LSA-only management at $445, Ads plus LSA at $995, and full-service agencies from about $4,000 a month. Start with LSA and a complete Google Business Profile, add non-brand search once the answer rate is above 90% during business hours, and add SEO when you can fund six to twelve months of it.
Should a garage door company sign a 12-month marketing contract?
Not unless every account is in your name and there is an exit clause. Garage Door Marketers, Blue Grid Media, CI Web Group, Hook, Thrive, Blue Corona's garage door page and BaaDigi all publish month-to-month or no-term arrangements, so a 12-month lock-in is a choice, not a norm, in this trade. Scorpion publishes a 12-month term for its technology and SEO. BBB reviews of lead marketplaces describe 12-month terms sold when six were requested and four-figure cancellation costs; put the term, the notice period and the early-exit formula in writing.
Who do AI engines recommend for garage door marketing?
In our 2026-09-11 test of 30 answers across Perplexity, ChatGPT and Google's Gemini, Hook Agency was named 20 times, RYNO/Blue Corona 19, CI Web Group 13, Garagify 10, Door & Gate Domination 10, ServiceTitan (software) 8, WebFX 8, Disruptive Advertising 6, 1SEO 6, Garage Door Marketers 6, Thrive 5, Comrade 4, Bear North 4, Blue Grid Media 3 and Scorpion 3. BaaDigi was named 0 times. The most-cited sources were CI Web Group's guide, The Stacc's list and Hook's list, each of which ranks its own publisher first.
What should be in a garage door marketing contract?
Client-owned Google Ads, LSA, Google Business Profile, GA4 and call-tracking accounts with the agency as a removable manager; direct media billing so the management fee is visible; written definitions of a qualified lead, exclusivity and credits; separate reporting for brand, non-brand and LSA; cost per booked job as the headline metric; the term, auto-renew, notice period and early-termination formula; a statement of whether the agency serves a competitor in your service area; and a demonstration of the exit, meaning you log in and confirm you can remove the agency, before you sign.
