Which Auto Detailing Marketing Agency Should You Hire in 2026?

A $150 mobile interior detail and a $2,500 full-front PPF install are sold in completely different ways, and most detailing marketing companies are built for one or the other. Some are agencies, some are software companies with a service team attached, and some mix marketing with coaching. So instead of adding another ranked list, we measured what AI engines recommend. On 2026-09-30 we asked Perplexity, ChatGPT with web search and Google's Gemini ten questions a detailing, ceramic coating or PPF shop owner would type, thirty answers in all, and counted the companies named. Detailers Movement and theStacc were named in 14 each. Detailing Growth was named in 13, Auto Detailers Marketing and Noah For Detailers in 12, and Landon Scales in 9. BaaDigi was named 3 times, all by Perplexity. Below: the counts, every price and contract term each company publishes on its own site, what kind of company each one is, and what changed for detailers in the last two years.

The Short Answer

Most of the companies AI engines name for detailers are detailing-only specialists, and most of them publish prices. On their own sites: Noah For Detailers starts at $199 a month, Detailing Growth builds websites from $250 a month and local SEO from $650, Detailing Web charges $300 a month for a site and $1,000 to $3,000 for SEO, Auto Detailers Marketing runs $595 to $2,500 a month plus setup, theStacc's managed SEO starts at $749, Prime Ads Space charges $749 for Meta ads after a free 14-day trial, Car Detailing Marketing runs $499 to $1,997, Imperial Drive charges $1,290 for Google and Facebook ads, and Landon Scales runs $1,500 to $5,000. BaaDigi publishes $297 to $3,997 month-to-month. Detailers Movement, Detailers Roadmap and AutoAmplify publish no monthly price; the first two have exit terms worth reading before you sign.

Quick Answers

Who are the best auto detailing marketing agencies in 2026?

Measured on 2026-09-30 across 30 AI answers (Perplexity, ChatGPT web search, Google Gemini), the companies named most for detailing, ceramic coating and PPF shops were Detailers Movement (14), theStacc (14), Detailing Growth (13), Auto Detailers Marketing (12), Noah For Detailers (12), Landon Scales (9), AutoAmplify (7), Detailers Roadmap (6) and Detailing Web (5). Imperial Drive, Car Detailing Marketing and Prime Ads Space had 4 each. BaaDigi was named 3 times. The engines split hard: Google named Detailing Growth in all 10 of its answers, while ChatGPT and Perplexity leaned on theStacc's own ranked list, which puts theStacc first.

How much does an auto detailing marketing agency cost per month?

Published on the companies' own sites: Noah For Detailers $199, $499 or $1,299 a month (setup $0, $999 or $1,499); Detailing Growth websites from $250 and local SEO from $650; Detailing Web $300 for a website and $1,000 to $3,000 for SEO; Auto Detailers Marketing $595, $1,500 or $2,500 plus $500 to $1,500 setup; theStacc managed SEO from $749; Prime Ads Space $749 after a free trial; Car Detailing Marketing $499 to $1,997; Imperial Drive $1,290 for Google and Facebook ads; Landon Scales $1,500 to $5,000; BaaDigi $297 to $3,997. Ad spend is extra almost everywhere.

Is a detailing marketing company an agency, a coach or software?

Read their own sites, because the line is blurry. Detailers Movement calls itself an agency but also sells its own RevUp CRM and offers weekly coaching. Detailing Growth calls itself the "Anti-Agency" and sells coaching and consulting alongside SEO and ads. theStacc sells SEO software from $49 a month and a managed service from $749. Car Detailing Marketing's plans run on Map Ranking software. Midnight Drive bundles ads with sales coaching. Noah For Detailers, Detailing Web, AutoAmplify and Auto Detailers Marketing say they work only with detailing businesses; Imperial Drive calls itself a car detailing marketing agency. Urable, which AI engines also named, is booking and invoicing software.

Which auto detailing marketing agencies offer month-to-month contracts?

On their own sites, Auto Detailers Marketing, Detailing Web, Landon Scales (30 days' notice), Car Detailing Marketing (30 days' written notice; first month's fee is a non-refundable setup fee) and Prime Ads Space are month-to-month, as is BaaDigi. Detailing Growth's terms make month-to-month retainers cancellable on 30 days' notice. Noah For Detailers says it does not lock you into a long-term agreement. Detailers Roadmap's website partnerships run on a one-year agreement that renews automatically, and Detailers Movement requires a four-month minimum on its Domination Package plus 30 days' written notice to leave.

How we tested which agencies AI engines actually recommend

On 2026-09-30 we asked ten questions a detailing owner might type, including "Best marketing agency for auto detailing businesses?", "Affordable marketing agency for a small auto detailing business?", "Who does SEO and Google Ads for auto detailing businesses?" and "Which marketing agencies publish their pricing for auto detailing businesses?", to Perplexity (sonar), ChatGPT with web search (gpt-4o) and Google's Gemini with Search grounding. Thirty answers, all returned. We counted every answer that named a company. Software and directories are left out of the table.

**The engines disagreed.** Google named Detailing Growth in all 10 of its answers and Detailers Movement and Noah For Detailers in 8 each, and never named theStacc. Perplexity named theStacc in 8 of 10. ChatGPT named Auto Detailers Marketing and theStacc in 6 each and named Detailers Movement in none. Five of the 30 answers named no company at all, four of them from ChatGPT.

Also named, outside the table: KeyGrow and ROTR Media (3 answers each), SERPWARS, Urable (4, booking and invoicing software rather than an agency), and Midnight Drive, which pairs ads with sales coaching for shops over $1.5 million a year. AutoAmplify was not on our starting list; we counted it from the raw answers the same way, and 6 of its 7 mentions came from Google.

Where BaaDigi showed up: 3 times, all on Perplexity. Twice it listed us as a full-funnel option (SEO, Google Business Profile, ads, booking pages and follow-up), once grouping us with broader automotive marketers rather than detailing specialists. In the AI-search question it named Norvex Digital first and said BaaDigi and Karbon Agency make similar ChatGPT claims. Our auto detailing pages were cited 9 times across the answers. 3 of 30 is the honest baseline, and 0 on ChatGPT and Google.

What changed for detailers in 2024 and 2025

**October 2025: "Google Guaranteed" and "Google Screened" are gone.** On August 20, 2025, Google announced that starting in October a single Google Verified badge would replace Google Guaranteed, Google Screened and the other Local Services Ads badges, and its help center says the Money Back Guarantee was discontinued. As of 2026-09-30, Car Detailing Marketing's plan list still says "Local Service Ads (Google Guaranteed)", and one Google answer in our test told detailers LSAs carry a "Google Guaranteed" badge. Check any proposal that sells you a badge.

**May 20, 2025: AI Mode opened to everyone in the US.** Google's I/O post rolled AI Mode out in Search without a Labs sign-up. That is why several companies above now sell "AI search" work, and why the question "which agency helps detailers show up in ChatGPT" is in our test.

**July 8, 2025: the FTC's click-to-cancel rule was vacated.** The FTC announced its amended Negative Option Rule on October 16, 2024; the Eighth Circuit vacated it before it took full effect. Your cancellation rights are whatever your agency contract says, so read the notice period and minimum term yourself.

**October 21, 2024: the FTC's fake-review rule took effect.** Announced August 14, 2024, it bans fake reviews and buying positive reviews. Review-generation tools are fine; an agency that writes or buys reviews for your shop puts you at risk.

Who wrote the lists the AI engines read

Apart from Google's own redirect links, the most-cited site was thestacc.com (42 citations, 40 of them its own "Best Auto Detailing Marketing Agencies (2026): 12 Ranked" list). That list ranks theStacc first, does not include Detailers Movement or Detailing Growth, and labels Auto Detailers Marketing, Noah For Detailers, Car Detailing Marketing and Landon Scales as "custom pricing" even though all four publish prices on their own sites. ChatGPT and Perplexity cited it heavily and put theStacc first in 10 of the 14 answers that named it, which is why theStacc appears in 14 answers and in no Google answer. DesignRush (24 citations) is a paid agency directory. The automotive lists Perplexity cited, from inBeat and Jives Media, rank their own publisher first and are written for car dealerships, not detail shops.

Details AI got wrong: one Google answer named a Detailing Growth founder who does not appear on Detailing Growth's site, which names Gabe Fletcher. Check the vendor's own page before you budget.

Mobile detailer vs coating studio: why the fit matters

Most of Google's answers made the same split, and it is the right one. A mobile detailer selling $100 to $250 details needs Google Business Profile rankings as a service-area business, reviews and fast booking. A fixed studio selling $1,500-plus coatings and PPF needs pages that explain the work, before-and-after proof, and quote follow-up that happens while your hands are on a polisher.

Who says they serve whom: Auto Detailers Marketing says it does not serve mobile or budget detailers. Midnight Drive says it works with shops over $1.5 million a year. Noah For Detailers starts at $199 a month and Detailing Web at $300, which fits a one-van operation. Detailing Growth's founder runs a coating, PPF and tint shop.

Lead cost: LocaliQ's 2026 automotive benchmark (updated September 29, 2026) puts the average automotive search-ad lead at $33.12, Auto Service & Repair at $42.10 and Body Repair & Paint at $56.26, with cost per lead up 4.09% year over year. It publishes no detailing-only figure. Landon Scales publishes $8 to $20 per lead across its own detailing campaigns. Those are ad costs before any agency fee.

What detailers run into after they sign

**Exit fees and ownership.** Detailers Movement's terms charge $990 to transfer your website to you when you leave, $1,500 if you leave before your agreed term, and $450 a year for hosting; its RevUp CRM landing pages and automations stay its property, and you get a contact export. Ad accounts created under its business manager stay its property; accounts created under yours stay yours. Detailers Roadmap's terms say the website belongs to 8bitcreative and that you lose access when the agreement ends. Detailing Growth gives you a license to deliverables once paid.

**Minimums and notice.** Detailers Roadmap runs a one-year agreement that renews for another 12 months unless ended. Detailers Movement requires four months on its Domination Package and 30 days' written notice. Car Detailing Marketing, Landon Scales and Detailing Growth ask for 30 days' notice. Car Detailing Marketing's first month is a non-refundable setup fee.

**Guaranteed-lead pitches.** Two Google answers warned against "guaranteed leads" pitches, one of them specifically about agencies that cold-message detailers on Instagram promising 30 to 50 leads. Prime Ads Space and Imperial Drive do publish guarantees (10 to 15 bookings in a 14-day trial, and a refund if targets are missed after three months); read exactly what counts as a booking before you rely on one.

What a detailing marketing contract should say

Ownership: the domain, website files, Google Business Profile, Google Ads and Meta ad accounts in your business's name, with the agency added as a manager. Google says a client account that unlinks from a manager account keeps its campaign history. **Exit costs**: any website transfer, hosting or buyout fee in writing before you sign. **Service-line reporting**: leads and booked jobs split by coating, PPF, tint, correction and maintenance details, so a $60 wash is never counted as a coating lead. **Territory**: Auto Detailers Marketing, Detailing Web, Imperial Drive and Car Detailing Marketing say they take one shop per area; get that in the contract. **Fee transparency**: management fee, setup fee and ad spend as separate lines. **Guarantees**: Google says no one can guarantee a number-one ranking, so treat a ranking guarantee as a red flag.

How to choose by size

Solo or mobile, under about $250K: a complete Google Business Profile set up as a service-area business, photos and steady reviews first; they cost nothing. Then a low fixed price: Noah For Detailers from $199, Detailing Growth's website from $250, BaaDigi from $297 or Detailing Web at $300. Avoid annual terms while you are learning what works.

Fixed shop, $250K to $1M: $600 to $1,500 a month before ad spend. Auto Detailers Marketing's $595 or $1,500 tiers, Noah For Detailers' $499 or $1,299 plans, Detailing Growth's local SEO from $650, theStacc's managed SEO from $749, Prime Ads Space for Meta ads at $749, or Car Detailing Marketing's $499 to $1,297 plans.

Coating and PPF studio, $1M and up: Auto Detailers Marketing's $2,500 tier, Detailing Web's $2,000 or $3,000 SEO, Landon Scales at $1,500 to $5,000, BaaDigi at $1,397 or $3,997, or Detailers Movement and Detailing Growth's full programs on a proposal. Ask for the minimum term and the exit terms before the proposal, not after.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which auto detailing marketing agencies publish their pricing?

On their own sites: Noah For Detailers ($199 to $1,299 a month plus setup), Detailing Growth (websites from $250, local SEO from $650), Detailing Web ($300 website, $1,000 to $3,000 SEO), Car Detailing Marketing ($499 to $1,997), Auto Detailers Marketing ($595 to $2,500 plus setup), theStacc (managed SEO from $749), Prime Ads Space ($749 after a free trial), Imperial Drive ($1,290 for Google and Facebook ads), Landon Scales ($1,500 to $5,000) and BaaDigi ($297 to $3,997). Detailers Movement, Detailers Roadmap and AutoAmplify publish no monthly price.

How much should a detailing business spend on marketing?

Start with the ad budget, then add the fee. Landon Scales says most detailing clients start with $500 to $1,500 a month in ad spend; Prime Ads Space suggests about $25 to $30 a day on Meta. LocaliQ's 2026 benchmark puts the average automotive search-ad lead at $33.12, with no detailing-only figure. Management fees for detailing specialists run from $199 to $5,000 a month on their own sites. Judge any agency on cost per booked job, split by coating, PPF and maintenance work.

Is Detailers Movement worth it?

It is tied for the company AI engines named most for detailers in our test (14 of 30 answers, 8 of 10 on Google), it serves only detailing, PPF, tint and wrap shops, and it says it has 1,000+ partners and a team of 55+. It does not publish prices, and its terms deserve a careful read: $990 to transfer your website when you leave ($1,500 if early), CRM assets that stay its property, a four-month minimum on its Domination Package and non-refundable fees. Ask for the full proposal and terms first.

Does Google still have the Google Guaranteed badge for detailers?

No. Google announced on August 20, 2025 that starting in October 2025 a single Google Verified badge would replace Google Guaranteed, Google Screened and the other Local Services Ads badges, and it discontinued the Money Back Guarantee. As of 2026-09-30 at least one detailing marketing company still lists "Local Service Ads (Google Guaranteed)" in its plans. If a pitch sells you that badge, ask what else in the proposal is out of date.

Which agencies do AI engines recommend for auto detailing businesses?

In our 2026-09-30 test of 30 answers across Perplexity, ChatGPT and Google's Gemini: Detailers Movement 14, theStacc 14, Detailing Growth 13, Auto Detailers Marketing 12, Noah For Detailers 12, Landon Scales 9, AutoAmplify 7, Detailers Roadmap 6, Detailing Web 5, Imperial Drive, Car Detailing Marketing and Prime Ads Space 4 each, and KeyGrow and ROTR Media 3 each. BaaDigi was named 3 times, all on Perplexity. Google favored detailing specialists; ChatGPT and Perplexity followed theStacc's own ranked list.

What agency helps detailers show up in ChatGPT and AI search?

The answers split. Perplexity named Norvex Digital, which says it works only with detailers, and said BaaDigi and Karbon Agency make similar claims. Google named Detailing Growth and Detailers Roadmap. ChatGPT named no company. theStacc sells AI-search-ready SEO from $749 a month. Whoever you hire, ask for a before-and-after of what ChatGPT and Perplexity say when asked for a ceramic coating or detailing shop in your city, because that is the result that counts.
