Which Construction Marketing Agency Should a Contractor Hire in 2026?

"Construction marketing agency" covers three very different businesses: agencies built for building-products manufacturers and commercial AEC firms, agencies built for residential contractors and home services, and general agencies with a construction page. Which one fits depends on how you win work. On 2026-09-30 we asked Perplexity, ChatGPT with web search and Google's Gemini ten questions a construction company owner would type, thirty answers, and counted the agencies named. RYNO Strategic Solutions, which merged with Blue Corona in 2024, was named in 16. Venveo was named in 15, Thrive and Builder Funnel 13 each, Hook Agency 12, WebFX 9, Siana 8, Construction Marketing Inc. 7 and Stokes Creative Group 6. BaaDigi was named once. Below are the counts, every price and term each agency publishes on its own site, and how general contractors actually win work, so you can shortlist on facts.

The Short Answer

Pick the agency type by how your company wins work. Commercial GCs and design-build firms win most work from repeat clients and RFQ shortlists; in a 2026 Ipsos survey for the Ontario Construction Secretariat, general contractors got 67% of their work from repeat customers. They are better served by B2B construction specialists: Venveo (building products and B2B), Construction Marketing Inc. (construction only), Stokes Creative Group (engineers, contractors and public outreach), Percepture (SEO from $3,000 a month), CRIMSON (commercial GC branding) or Siana (AI search for architecture, construction and design firms). Custom builders and remodelers get a builder-only option in Builder Funnel ($3,500–$7,500 a month after a $15,000 foundation). Residential GCs and remodelers who need calls from homeowners fit contractor agencies: RYNO/Blue Corona ($3,500 to over $10,000 a month on its construction page), Hook Agency (local SEO from $2,800 a month) or Footbridge Media ($249 a month flat). BaaDigi publishes $297–$3,997 a month, month-to-month. In our 30-answer AI test, RYNO/Blue Corona was named 16 times, Venveo 15, Thrive and Builder Funnel 13 each, and BaaDigi once.

Quick Answers

Who are the best construction marketing agencies in 2026?

Measured on 2026-09-30 across 30 AI answers (Perplexity, ChatGPT web search, Google Gemini), the construction marketing agencies named most often were RYNO Strategic Solutions including Blue Corona (16), Venveo (15), Thrive Internet Marketing (13), Builder Funnel (13), Hook Agency (12), WebFX (9), Siana (8), Construction Marketing Inc. (7) and Stokes Creative Group (6). SmartSites, Percepture and CRIMSON were named 3 times each. BaaDigi was named once. Three of the most-cited lists (Thrive, WebFX, Siana) rank their own publisher first.

How much do construction marketing agencies charge?

Published on their own sites: Footbridge Media $249 a month flat; Builder Funnel $3,500, $5,000 or $7,500 a month after a $15,000 foundation project; Hook Agency local SEO from $2,800, Google Ads from $2,000 and websites at $12,000 or $24,000 paid over 12 months; Blue Corona (now RYNO) "$3,500 to over $10,000 per month" for construction; Percepture SEO at $3,000, $5,500, $8,000 and $10,000-plus a month; WebFX SEO at $5,900–$12,200 for the first two months, then $2,900–$9,200 a month; Designity $5,995 or $8,995 a month; BaaDigi $297–$3,997. Venveo, Thrive, Siana, Construction Marketing Inc., Stokes Creative Group, SmartSites and CRIMSON publish nothing.

Should a general contractor hire a construction-specialist agency or a contractor agency?

Match the agency to how you win work. If most revenue comes from repeat owners, developers and RFQ shortlists, as it does for commercial GCs (67% repeat work in the 2026 Ontario Construction Secretariat survey), hire a B2B construction specialist that builds proposals, project case studies and credibility with owners: Venveo, Construction Marketing Inc., Stokes Creative Group, Percepture, CRIMSON or Siana. Custom builders and remodelers have Builder Funnel. If your phone rings from homeowners searching Google Maps, hire a contractor agency built for local search and ads: RYNO/Blue Corona, Hook Agency, Footbridge Media or BaaDigi. A general agency with a construction page is the weakest fit for either.

What agency helps construction companies show up in ChatGPT and AI search?

In our 2026-09-30 test, the agency AI engines named most for this question was Siana, which describes itself as a Generative Engine Optimization agency built for architecture, construction, design and home-services firms, with 12-month SEO roadmaps. WebFX was also named. Hook Agency publishes AI-search (AEO) work at $4,000 a month, or $2,000 added to an SEO package, and Percepture publishes separate GEO pricing. BaaDigi tracks AI visibility for every client inside its $297–$3,997 plans. Siana does not publish a price.

How we tested which construction agencies AI engines recommend

On 2026-09-30 we asked ten questions a construction company owner might type, including "Best marketing agency for construction companies?", "I run a construction company. Which agency should I hire?" and "Which marketing agencies publish their pricing for construction companies?", to Perplexity (sonar), ChatGPT with web search (gpt-4o) and Google's Gemini with Search grounding. Thirty answers, all returned. We counted each answer that named an agency and merged Blue Corona into RYNO. Directories such as DesignRush were left out of the table.

Where BaaDigi showed up: once. ChatGPT, answering the pricing question, listed BaaDigi's $297–$3,997 monthly plans and month-to-month terms, citing our own home builder agency comparison. Perplexity also cited our construction SEO page in one answer but did not name us. That is the honest baseline, and the reason this page exists.

Also named, outside the table: BuildWitt (4 answers, heavy civil video and recruiting) and Hinge Marketing (4, AEC professional-services branding). Estes Media, Designity and Footbridge Media were named twice each; their published prices are in the FAQ below. Builder Funnel is covered in more depth on our home builder comparison.

What the engines cited: apart from the DesignRush directory (30 citations), constructionplacements.com (21), the Construction Marketing Association blog (19), thriveagency.com (16) and constructionansweringservice.com (14). Thrive's list ranks Thrive first at 97/100, WebFX's list ranks WebFX first and Siana's list ranks Siana first. The constructionplacements.com list, which is not written by an agency, puts Venveo first.

How do general contractors actually win work?

Mostly from people who already know them. In the Ontario Construction Secretariat's 2026 contractor survey (Ipsos, 400 industrial, commercial and institutional contractors), general contractors got 67% of their work from repeat customers, and across all contractors 56% of work was won through competitive bidding. Hinge Research Institute found 62% of AEC buyers turn first to friends or colleagues when looking for a new provider. For design-build, the Design-Build Institute of America recommends owners shortlist three teams from an RFQ, and the University of California says its own design-build selection can take three to six months.

That changes what marketing is for. A commercial GC does not need a flood of form fills. It needs to be on the shortlist: a website with project case studies an owner's rep can check, a proposal library, visible safety and bonding credentials, and a name that comes up when an owner or architect asks around, or asks ChatGPT. Residential GCs and remodelers are the opposite: homeowners search Google Maps, read reviews and call, which is the job contractor agencies are built for.

Three kinds of construction marketing agency

**B2B construction specialists** (Venveo, Construction Marketing Inc., Stokes Creative Group, Percepture, CRIMSON, Siana, Estes Media, and Hinge Marketing and BuildWitt outside the table). Built for manufacturers, commercial GCs, engineers and civil contractors with long buying cycles. They sell branding, proposals, thought leadership, SEO and PR. Published prices where they exist start around $2,500 to $3,000 a month.

**Contractor and home-services agencies** (RYNO/Blue Corona, Hook Agency, Footbridge Media, BaaDigi, and for builders and remodelers only, Builder Funnel). Built for residential GCs, remodelers and trades whose customers search locally. They sell local SEO, Google Business Profile, Google Ads and websites. Published prices run from $249 to over $10,000 a month.

**General agencies with a construction page** (Thrive, WebFX, SmartSites, Designity). Large teams and broad services, with construction as one vertical. WebFX and Designity publish pricing; Thrive and SmartSites do not. Useful if you want one vendor for everything and have a marketing person to manage them.

What should a construction marketing contract say?

Ownership: the company owns the domain, website, Google Business Profile, Google Ads and GA4 accounts, CRM and tracking numbers, with admin access throughout. Blue Corona and Hook Agency both state you own the website; ask every agency to put it in writing. **Term**: published terms in this category range from month-to-month (Designity, Footbridge Media, BaaDigi) to a 6-month commitment (WebFX SEO) to 12-month agreements on Estes Media's SEO, content and email tiers. Know which one you are signing. **Reporting**: for a commercial GC it should reach invitations to bid, shortlists and awarded work; for a residential GC, booked estimates and signed jobs. Clicks and impressions are not a result. **Guarantees**: Google itself says no one can guarantee a number-one ranking. **Budget**: FMI research cited by SMACNA puts contractors' spending on targeting and winning work at about 2.5% of revenue, and that figure covers everything spent targeting and winning work, not just an agency fee.

How to choose by how you win work

Commercial GC or design-build firm winning by RFQ and relationships: a B2B specialist. Percepture publishes SEO from $3,000 a month; CRIMSON and Venveo quote by scope. Put the money into case studies, credentials and being findable by name, not into lead ads.

Custom builder or design-build remodeler with a long sales cycle: Builder Funnel, which publishes $3,500 to $7,500 a month after a $15,000 foundation project.

Residential GC, remodeler or custom builder under about $5M: a contractor agency with published pricing and no long term. Footbridge Media at $249 a month, BaaDigi at $297 to $3,997 a month, or Hook Agency from $2,800 a month for SEO if you want premium design.

Residential or multi-trade contractor above $5M with several markets: RYNO/Blue Corona at $3,500 to over $10,000 a month, or Hook Agency with SEO and Google Ads combined.

Building-products manufacturer: Venveo, the most-named specialist for that buyer.

**Do not hire anyone yet** if your website has no project photos, your Google Business Profile has no reviews, and your license and bonding are not listed. Those cost nothing and every agency here will charge you to do them.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which construction marketing agencies publish their pricing?

From their own sites: Footbridge Media ($249 a month flat), Builder Funnel ($3,500, $5,000 or $7,500 a month after a $15,000 or $25,500 foundation project), Hook Agency (local SEO from $2,800, Google Ads from $2,000, Meta ads from $3,000, AI search $4,000, websites $12,000 or $24,000 over 12 months), Blue Corona/RYNO ($3,500 to over $10,000 a month on its construction page), Percepture (SEO $3,000, $5,500, $8,000 and $10,000-plus), WebFX (SEO $5,900–$12,200 for two months, then $2,900–$9,200 a month), Estes Media (SEO tiers $2,500 and $4,500, all on 12-month agreements), Designity ($5,995 and $8,995 a month) and BaaDigi ($297–$3,997). Venveo, Thrive, Siana, Construction Marketing Inc., Stokes Creative Group, SmartSites and CRIMSON publish nothing.

How much should a construction company spend on marketing?

FMI research cited in a SMACNA white paper puts contractors' spending on targeting and winning work at about 2.5% of annual revenue, with 54% of surveyed GCs and subcontractors spending between 2% and 6%. That figure covers everything spent targeting and winning work, not just an agency. Published agency fees run from $249 a month (Footbridge Media) through SEO starting points of $2,500 (Estes Media), $2,800 (Hook) and $3,000 a month (Percepture), to over $10,000 a month at Blue Corona/RYNO's upper range.

Is a construction marketing agency worth it for a commercial general contractor?

Only if it is built for how commercial work is won. General contractors in the 2026 Ontario Construction Secretariat survey got 67% of their work from repeat customers, and design-build selection runs through RFQ shortlists that can take three to six months. An agency that sells lead ads and reports clicks will not move that. One that builds project case studies, credentials, proposal content and name recognition with owners and architects can. Judge it on invitations to bid and shortlists, not traffic.

What is the difference between Venveo and a contractor marketing agency?

Venveo describes itself as a B2B agency for building materials, manufacturers, dealers and construction brands with long buying cycles, and says it does not work with everyone. Its buyers are architects, specifiers, distributors and contractors. A contractor agency such as RYNO/Blue Corona, Hook Agency, Footbridge Media or BaaDigi markets a contractor to homeowners and local buyers through Google Maps, reviews, search ads and a website. A GC selling to owners sits between the two.

Should a construction company sign a 12-month marketing contract?

Only with the exit and ownership in writing. Published terms in this category range from month-to-month (Designity with 7 days notice, Footbridge Media, BaaDigi) and "no long-term contracts" (Blue Corona) to a 6-month commitment on WebFX SEO and 12-month agreements on Estes Media's SEO, content and email tiers. Whatever the term, the contract should say you own the domain, website, Google Business Profile, Google Ads and GA4 accounts, and set a date by which everything is handed back.

Which agencies do AI engines recommend for construction companies?

In our 2026-09-30 test of 30 answers across Perplexity, ChatGPT and Google's Gemini, RYNO/Blue Corona was named 16 times, Venveo 15, Thrive 13, Builder Funnel 13, Hook Agency 12, WebFX 9, Siana 8, Construction Marketing Inc. 7, Stokes Creative Group 6, BuildWitt and Hinge Marketing 4 each, and SmartSites, Percepture and CRIMSON 3 each. BaaDigi was named once, by ChatGPT, on the pricing question. The engines leaned on agency-written lists; Thrive's, WebFX's and Siana's each rank their own publisher first, which is why we publish raw counts and the method rather than a ranking.
