Which Remodeling Marketing Agency Should You Hire in 2026?

Every "best remodeling marketing agency" list we could find ranks its own publisher first, and those lists are what the AI engines read. So we measured the answers instead. On 2026-09-30 we asked Perplexity, ChatGPT with web search and Google's Gemini ten questions a kitchen, bath or design-build remodeler would type, thirty answers in all, and counted the agencies named. Builder Funnel was named in 20. RYNO Strategic Solutions (which merged with Blue Corona in 2024) and Hook Agency were each named in 18, Built Right Digital in 14. BaaDigi was named once. Below: the counts, every price and contract term each agency publishes on its own site, and what remodelers say goes wrong after they sign.

The Short Answer

Remodelers have more published pricing to compare than most trades. Builder Funnel, the most-named agency in our 30-answer AI test (20 answers), works only with remodelers and custom builders and publishes a $15,000 foundation project, then $3,500, $5,000 or $7,500 a month plus technology and ad spend. Hook Agency (18 answers) publishes SEO from $2,800 a month and websites at $12K or $24K. Contractor Growth Network publishes websites from $15,000 and SEO at $3,150 to $6,400 a month on a 12-month term. Comrade publishes a $4,000-a-month full program, Fannit $1,500 and $3,500, Footbridge Media $249 flat with no contract, and BaaDigi $297 to $3,997 month-to-month. RYNO/Blue Corona, Scorpion, Socius, B&G Collective and WebFX publish no rate card. Qualified Remodeler's 2025 Top 500 full-service remodelers spent 5.2% of revenue on marketing, so size the retainer to that before you shortlist.

Quick Answers

Who are the best remodeling marketing agencies in 2026?

Measured on 2026-09-30 across 30 AI answers (Perplexity, ChatGPT web search, Google Gemini), the agencies named most for remodeling companies were Builder Funnel (20), RYNO Strategic Solutions including Blue Corona (18), Hook Agency (18), Built Right Digital (14), Socius Marketing (9), Contractor Growth Network (8), B&G Collective (7), Scorpion (7) and WebFX (7). BaaDigi was named once. Builder Funnel, Contractor Growth Network and B&G Collective focus on remodelers, design-build firms and builders; the rest serve contractors or home services broadly. The most-cited sources were agency-written lists that rank their own publisher first.

How much do remodeling marketing agencies charge per month?

Published on their own sites: Footbridge Media $249 a month flat; Fannit $1,500 and $3,500; Comrade $4,000 and up for its full program (local SEO alone from $1,500, PPC from $1,450); Hook Agency SEO from $2,800, PPC from $2,000; Contractor Growth Network SEO $3,150, $4,900 or $6,400 after a website from $15,000; Builder Funnel $3,500, $5,000 or $7,500 after a $15,000 or $25,500 foundation project; Built Right Digital two tier sets ($1,499 to $4,999, and $1,199 to $19,999); BaaDigi $297 to $3,997. Ad spend is extra everywhere. RYNO/Blue Corona, Scorpion, Socius, B&G Collective and WebFX publish no rate card.

Should a remodeler hire a remodeling-only agency or a general contractor agency?

Hire a remodeling or design-build specialist (Builder Funnel, Contractor Growth Network, B&G Collective) when the problem is the sale itself: a design-build project can take 12 to 16 weeks from schematic design to contract, so you need nurture, portfolio and consultation tracking rather than call volume. Hire a broader contractor agency (Hook, Comrade, Fannit, Footbridge, BaaDigi) when the problem is being found: Google Business Profile, reviews, local rankings and AI search work the same way for a bath remodeler as for a roofer, and several of those agencies publish lower floors and month-to-month terms.

What does a remodeling lead cost?

LocaliQ's 2025 benchmark of home-services search campaigns puts the median cost per lead for construction and general contractors at $165.67, against $90.92 across all home services, which makes remodeling one of the more expensive search categories. Google says Local Services Ads lead prices vary by location, job type and bidding, so no fixed remodeling price exists. What matters is cost per booked design consultation, because a $15,000 bath and a $150,000 whole-home remodel should never share a campaign or a cost-per-lead target.

How we tested which agencies AI engines actually recommend

On 2026-09-30 we asked ten questions a remodeler might type, including "Best marketing agency for remodeling companies?", "I run a remodeling company. Which agency should I hire?" and "Which marketing agencies publish their pricing for remodeling companies?", to Perplexity (sonar), ChatGPT with web search (gpt-4o) and Google's Gemini with Search grounding. Thirty answers, all returned. We counted every answer that named an agency and merged Blue Corona into RYNO. Socius Marketing, Contractor Growth Network and B&G Collective were not on our starting list; we counted them from the raw answers with the same matching rule.

**BaaDigi was named once.** When ChatGPT was asked which agencies publish pricing for remodelers, it listed BaaDigi as a boutique for contractors and builders at $297 to $3,997 a month, month-to-month, citing our home-builder roundup, which it also used as its source for Builder Funnel's prices. That is the whole of it: 1 of 30.

**One answer got a price wrong.** Perplexity reported that Footbridge Media says remodeler marketing costs "$2,000 to $4,000 per month minimum". Footbridge's page uses that figure for what other agencies charge; its own price is $249. Check any price an AI gives you against the agency's own page.

Who wrote the lists the AI engines read

Among agency and lead-vendor sites, the most-cited were builtrightdigital.com (33 citations), thebuildd.com (17), fervorstudio.ca (14) and bgcollective.com (12). Each is a publisher with something to sell. Built Right Digital's remodeling list ranks Built Right Digital first. B&G Collective's ranks B&G Collective first. Fannit's ranks Fannit first. theBuildd, a lead vendor, puts itself first as "the lead-first option". Fervor Studio includes itself and acknowledges that it ranked itself. None of that makes the lists useless, but it is why we publish counts and published prices rather than another ranking.

One detail worth knowing: Built Right Digital's list assigns retainer ranges to agencies that do not publish them and gives Builder Funnel $3,000 to $6,000 a month. Builder Funnel's own pricing page says $3,500 to $7,500 after a $15,000 foundation project. Use the agency's page, not the list.

Why a remodeling sales cycle changes which agency fits

A bath conversion and a whole-home remodel are different sales. Neil Kelly, a large design-build remodeler, publishes 12 to 16 weeks from schematic design to contract, and 30 to 44 weeks from first conversation to final walkthrough. Most of that sits after the lead arrives, which is why a monthly report of clicks and form fills tells a remodeler very little.

Budget: Qualified Remodeler's 2025 Top 500 full-service remodelers raised average marketing spend to 5.2% of revenue from 4.4%, with referrals and repeat business still their top sources. Builder Funnel tells remodelers to plan 3% to 5% of goal revenue; Contractor Growth Network says 3% to 7%. At $2M in revenue, 5% is $100,000 a year including ad spend, which is the number to hold every proposal against.

Lead cost: LocaliQ's 2025 benchmark puts search-ad cost per lead for construction and general contractors at a median $165.67, nearly double the $90.92 home-services average. A remodeler should judge that against cost per booked consultation, split by project type.

What remodelers complain about after they sign

Lead platforms that auto-renew.** In its own responses to BBB complaints, Houzz states that all Houzz Pro accounts have auto-renewal terms and that cancellations are not permitted mid-term; complainants describe being renewed for a full year without noticing the renewal email. **Shared and unqualified leads** from marketplaces, where one kitchen inquiry goes to several remodelers. **Two ownership answers: theBuildd's review notes that Built Right Digital's public FAQ says the contractor owns everything from day one, while a terms document on the same domain keeps the website and Google Ads account with the agency; its own pricing page says the website stays the agency's until paid in full. **Twelve-month terms**: Scorpion's FAQ says marketing technology and SEO run on a 12-month contract; Contractor Growth Network's SEO is 12 months then month-to-month. None of these are hidden, but all of them are easy to skip before signing.

What a remodeling marketing contract should say

Ownership: the domain, website files, Google Business Profile, Google Ads and Local Services Ads accounts, GA4, CRM and tracking numbers in your company's name, with the agency as a removable manager and an export deadline at exit. Comrade and Hook publish this; get it in writing from anyone who does not. **A qualified-lead definition**: project type, minimum budget, service area and timeline, so a $3,000 vanity swap is not billed as a kitchen lead. **Reporting** through to booked design consultations and signed contracts by project type. **Fee transparency**: Google's third-party policy requires agencies to be transparent about the costs of their services, so ask for the management fee and ad spend as separate lines. **Term**: month-to-month, or a stated minimum that converts to month-to-month with 30 days notice. **Guarantees**: Google says no one can guarantee a number-one ranking, so treat a ranking guarantee as a red flag.

How to choose by size

Under about $1M: a complete Google Business Profile with project photos and steady reviews first; they cost nothing. Then a low fixed-price program: Footbridge at $249 a month, Fannit's $1,500 tier for $500K-plus firms, or BaaDigi from $297. No long term.

$1M to $3M: $1,500 to $4,000 a month before ad spend. Comrade's single services or its $4,000 program, Fannit at $3,500, Built Right Digital's middle tiers, or BaaDigi at $1,397. Split kitchen, bath and whole-home campaigns from the start.

$2M to $7M design-build: Builder Funnel ($15,000 then $3,500-plus), Contractor Growth Network ($15,000-plus website then $3,150 to $6,400 on a 12-month term), Hook Agency (SEO from $2,800 on a yearly commitment; it says it serves $3M–$15M firms), or B&G Collective by quote. This is where a specialist's nurture and positioning work pays for its higher floor.

Multi-location: RYNO/Blue Corona, Scorpion or WebFX, all by quote. Ask for the contract term and the exit terms before the proposal, not after.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which remodeling marketing agencies publish their pricing?

On their own sites: Footbridge Media ($249 a month flat), Fannit ($1,500 and $3,500 a month), Comrade ($4,000 a month for its full program, local SEO from $1,500, PPC from $1,450), Hook Agency (SEO from $2,800, PPC from $2,000, websites $12K or $24K), Contractor Growth Network (website from $15,000, SEO $3,150 to $6,400), Builder Funnel ($15,000 or $25,500 foundation, then $3,500 to $7,500), Built Right Digital (two tier sets from $1,199 to $19,999) and BaaDigi ($297 to $3,997). RYNO/Blue Corona, Scorpion, Socius, B&G Collective and WebFX publish no rate card.

How much should a remodeling company spend on marketing?

Qualified Remodeler's 2025 Top 500 full-service remodelers averaged 5.2% of revenue, up from 4.4%. Builder Funnel advises 3% to 5% of goal revenue and Contractor Growth Network 3% to 7%. At $2M in revenue, 3% to 5% is $60,000 to $100,000 a year including ad spend. Judge the result on cost per booked design consultation by project type, not on leads, because a bath and a whole-home remodel carry very different values.

Is Builder Funnel worth it for a remodeler?

It is the agency AI engines name most for remodelers (20 of 30 answers in our test) and it works only with remodelers and custom builders. The cost is also the clearest in the trade: a $15,000 foundation project, then $3,500 to $7,500 a month, plus technology from $540 a month and ad spend. It fits design-build firms with a long sales cycle and the budget for that floor. Contract length is not published, so ask for it and for asset ownership in writing.

Should a remodeler sign a 12-month marketing contract?

Only with a defined exit. Scorpion's FAQ says marketing technology and SEO typically run on a 12-month contract, Hook Agency's FAQ asks for a yearly commitment, and Contractor Growth Network's SEO is 12 months then month-to-month. Comrade, Footbridge, Built Right Digital's full-service plans and BaaDigi are month-to-month from the start. Whatever the term, the contract should put the domain, website, Google accounts and tracking numbers in your name and set an export deadline. Lead platforms need the same scrutiny: Houzz states all Houzz Pro accounts auto-renew.

Which agencies do AI engines recommend for remodeling companies?

In our 2026-09-30 test of 30 answers across Perplexity, ChatGPT and Google's Gemini: Builder Funnel 20, RYNO/Blue Corona 18, Hook Agency 18, Built Right Digital 14, Socius Marketing 9, Contractor Growth Network 8, B&G Collective 7, Scorpion 7, WebFX 7, Comrade 4, and Fannit, Siana and Footbridge 3 each. BaaDigi was named once, in a ChatGPT answer about published pricing. The engines leaned on agency-written lists that rank their own publisher first.

What agency helps remodelers show up in ChatGPT and AI search?

Answers to this question split. Google's named Builder Funnel, Hook Agency, Siana Marketing and several smaller firms; Perplexity's named small AI-search specialists; ChatGPT's named no remodeling agency at all. Hook publishes an AEO service at $4,000 a month, or $2,000 added to SEO; Comrade includes AI search in its remodeling program. Whoever you hire, ask them to show you a before-and-after of what ChatGPT and Perplexity say when asked for a remodeler in your city, because that is the only result that counts.
