Comparison Guide
Which Fencing Marketing Agency Should You Hire in 2026?
Fence work is a researched purchase: homeowners compare wood, vinyl and aluminum, collect two or three quotes and pick the company they trust first. Agencies sell to that buyer in very different ways, so instead of adding another ranked list we measured what AI engines recommend. On 2026-09-30 we asked Perplexity, ChatGPT with web search and Google's Gemini ten questions a fence company owner would type. Twenty-nine answers came back (one Perplexity call failed). Hook Agency and DotCom Global Media were each named in 15. Fence Marketing Pros was named in 13 and Fence & Deck Marketers in 9. BaaDigi was named once. Below: the counts, every price and contract term each agency publishes on its own site, what changed for fence contractors this year, and which kind of agency fits which kind of fence company.

The Short Answer
Two kinds of agency dominate the AI answers for fence companies. Fence-only specialists (DotCom Global Media, Fence Marketing Pros, Fence & Deck Marketers, The Fencing Marketers, Fence Marketing Xperts) and contractor agencies with a fencing page (Hook Agency, Geek Powered Studios, Timmermann Group, Built-Right Digital). Published monthly fees on their own sites: DotCom $1,800 or $3,000 on a 12-month initial commitment; Fence Marketing Xperts from $2,000 to $5,000, month-to-month; Built-Right Digital $1,199 to $19,999; Geek Powered $3,500 to $7,500; Hook Agency SEO from $2,800 and Google Ads from $2,000 on a yearly commitment. Fence Marketing Pros, Fence & Deck Marketers, The Fencing Marketers, Timmermann and Orbit One publish no price. BaaDigi publishes $297 to $3,997, month-to-month. Ad spend is extra everywhere.
Quick Answers
Who are the best fencing marketing agencies in 2026?
Measured on 2026-09-30 across 29 AI answers (Perplexity, ChatGPT web search, Google Gemini), the agencies named most for fence companies were Hook Agency (15), DotCom Global Media (15), Fence Marketing Pros (13), Fence & Deck Marketers (9), The Fencing Marketers (6), Geek Powered Studios (6) and Timmermann Group (6), then Orbit One, Clicks Geek, BeFindable, Fence Marketing Xperts and Built-Right Digital at 5 each. BaaDigi was named once. Google's answers leaned on fence-only specialists: Fence Marketing Pros and Fence & Deck Marketers in 8 of 10 each, DotCom in 7.
How much does a fencing marketing agency cost per month?
Published on the agencies' own sites: Fence Marketing (fencemarketing.com) $597, $797 or $1,097 a month, tiered by ad budget; Built-Right Digital $1,199 to $19,999; DotCom Global Media $1,800 (Lite) or $3,000 (Elite), with custom Enterprise pricing; Fence Marketing Xperts from $2,000, $3,000 or $5,000 by market competition; Hook Agency Google Ads from $2,000 and SEO from $2,800; Geek Powered Studios $3,500, $5,000 or $7,500; BaaDigi $297 to $3,997. Ad spend is paid separately in every case. Fence Marketing Pros, Fence & Deck Marketers, The Fencing Marketers, Timmermann Group and Orbit One publish no monthly price.
Which fencing marketing agencies offer month-to-month contracts?
On their own sites: Fence Marketing Xperts (month-to-month, discounts for a 3-month-plus term), Built-Right Digital's full-service plans, BeFindable (30-day rolling, 7 days' notice), Fence Marketing (3-month minimum, then month-to-month) and BaaDigi. DotCom Global Media requires an initial 12-month commitment, then month-to-month. Hook Agency asks for a yearly commitment. Geek Powered's pricing page says no long-term contracts with a 6-month commitment for the included website, while its fencing page says retainers generally run 12 months; get the term in writing. Fence Marketing Pros, Fence & Deck Marketers, The Fencing Marketers and Timmermann do not publish a term.
Do fence marketing agencies offer territory exclusivity?
Several say so on their own sites. Fence Marketing Pros says it will not sign one of your competitors in the same city. Fence & Deck Marketers says it works with one fence company and one deck company per city. Geek Powered Studios works with one client per industry per region, and Fence Marketing (fencemarketing.com) promises one contractor per market. Seven of the ten Google answers in our test raised territory exclusivity, and four told fence owners to confirm it before signing. Get the protected cities or ZIP codes, the trade definition and the remedy written into the contract, not just the sales deck.

How we tested which agencies AI engines actually recommend
On 2026-09-30 we asked ten questions a fence company owner might type, including "Best marketing agency for fence companies?", "Affordable marketing agency for a small fence company?", "Who does SEO and Google Ads for fence companies?" and "Which marketing agencies publish their pricing for fence companies?", to Perplexity (sonar), ChatGPT with web search (gpt-4o) and Google's Gemini with Search grounding. Thirty calls, 29 answers: one Perplexity call failed. We counted every answer that named an agency. Fence & Deck Marketers and "Deck & Fence Marketers" are the same company at the same website, so they share one row at the higher count (9); we did not add the two.
**The engines disagreed.** Google's answers favored fence-only specialists: Fence Marketing Pros and Fence & Deck Marketers in 8 of 10 each, DotCom Global Media in 7. Perplexity named Hook Agency in 6 of its 9 answers and Built-Right Digital in 5. ChatGPT gave four generic answers that named no agency at all.
Also named, outside the table: RYNO Strategic Solutions including Blue Corona and Mad Fish Digital (4 answers each), plus Socius Marketing, Fence Leads, WebFX, Home Service Direct, The Builders Agency, Rounded Digital, Fence One Marketing, We Market Fence and TMG USA. We Market Fence publishes $250, $600 and $1,200 a month, month-to-month. Fence Leads, run by Soar Marketing, does Google Ads only and says that if it does not produce 20 qualified estimate requests in your first 60 days it keeps managing the campaigns with no management fee until it does. 99 Calls, a pay-per-lead service, also came up.
Where BaaDigi showed up: once. A Perplexity answer to "Who does SEO and Google Ads for fence companies?" listed BaaDigi among examples and cited our fencing digital marketing and fencing SEO pages. 1 of 29 is the honest baseline.
What changed for fence contractors in 2025 and 2026
**August 2026 onward: Local Services Ads are moving into Google Ads.** Google's help center says Local Services Ads are transitioning to Performance Max campaigns with pay-per-lead goals, in phases: August 2026 for selected U.S. trades (fencing is not on the phase-one list), late 2026 for broader groups including service-area businesses without storefronts, and 2027 for remaining categories and non-U.S. accounts. "Fencing specialist" is on Google's supported list. You still pay per valid lead, but your old LSA performance reports do not move over, so download them before your account migrates, and ask any agency how it will manage LSA inside Google Ads.
**October 2025: "Google Guaranteed" is gone.** Google announced on August 20, 2025 that a single Google Verified badge would replace Google Guaranteed and the other Local Services badges starting in October, and its help center says the Money Back Guarantee was discontinued. Two Google answers in our test still described Local Services Ads as the "Google Guaranteed" badge, so check any proposal that promises one.
**May 2025: AI Mode in Google Search.** Google rolled AI Mode out to everyone in the U.S. on May 20, 2025. One of the ten questions we asked was which agency helps fence companies show up in ChatGPT and AI search. The answers named small AI-search shops, Built-Right Digital and Fuel Online, and Google's answer named none of the agencies in our table.
**October 2024: RYNO and Blue Corona merged.** Blue Corona's own newsroom announced the merger with RYNO Strategic Solutions. AI answers still name Blue Corona (4 answers) rather than RYNO.
Who wrote the lists the AI engines read
Apart from Google's own redirect links, the most-cited sites were thestacc.com (21 citations), hookagency.com (13), topmarketingagencies.com (10) and builtrightdigital.com (10). theStacc's fence-and-deck comparison puts theStacc first and labels that spot a publisher-controlled promotional placement; its independent order starts with DotCom Global Media. TopMarketingAgencies' fence directory features Fence & Deck Marketers first and Fence Marketing Pros second and says it charges no listing fee, though it also says some featured agencies are members of its network. InBound Blogging's fence SEO list ranks InBound Blogging first. ZipDo's fencing SEO list puts WebFX first and discloses that it includes paid placements. Several AI answers repeated these orders as if they were independent rankings.
Fence-only specialist or contractor agency?
Google's answers kept splitting the field the same way, and it is a fair split. Fence-only agencies (DotCom Global Media, Fence Marketing Pros, Fence & Deck Marketers, The Fencing Marketers, Fence Marketing Xperts) already know the difference between a shadowbox privacy fence, an aluminum pool barrier and a commercial chain-link bid, and several of them sell city exclusivity. Contractor agencies with a fencing page (Hook Agency, Geek Powered, Timmermann Group, Orbit One, Built-Right Digital) bring broader teams and are often the better fit for multi-trade companies that also build decks, patios or pergolas.
Lead cost: we found no published benchmark for fencing specifically. LocaliQ's 2025 study of 3,211 U.S. home-services search campaigns puts the average cost per click at $7.85 and the average cost per lead at $90.92, with no fencing subcategory; Clicks Geek's fencing page puts a good Google Ads cost per lead for fence companies at $20 to $45 blended, which is an agency's own figure, not an independent benchmark.
Budget: we found no American Fence Association figure for marketing as a share of revenue. The guidance on agency sites is just that: Clicks Geek suggests 8% to 12% of revenue, and Fence Leads suggests $3,000 to $6,000 a month in ad spend for established companies. Plan the fee and the ad budget as separate numbers.
What fence contractors run into after they sign
**Annual terms.** DotCom Global Media's programs start with a 12-month commitment, Hook Agency asks for a yearly commitment, and Geek Powered's fencing page says retainers are generally 12 months even though its pricing page says no long-term contracts. Fence Marketing has a 3-month minimum. Fence Marketing Xperts, Built-Right Digital's full-service plans, BeFindable and We Market Fence are month-to-month.
**Who keeps what.** Built-Right Digital keeps ownership of a website bought on its 12-month installment plan until it is paid off. Geek Powered transfers the included website after 6 months. Hook, Orbit One and Built-Right (for its full-service plans) say you own your website and assets. Google's own help center separates who owns an account's data from who administers it: if an agency's manager account creates your Google Ads account, the agency automatically becomes its owner, so make sure it is created under your login.
**Shared leads.** Two Google answers warned against agencies that resell marketplace leads. The FTC's 2023 order against HomeAdvisor, which requires it to pay up to $7.2 million and bars misleading claims about its leads, is worth reading before you buy leads from anyone.
**Prices from AI answers.** Several answers quoted monthly prices for agencies that publish none. We left those figures out; ask the agency for its own number.
What a fence marketing contract should say
Ownership: the domain, website files, Google Business Profile, Google Ads and Local Services accounts, GA4 and call-tracking numbers in your company's name, with the agency as a removable manager and an export deadline at exit. **Lead types**: estimates split by residential install, commercial, gate, repair and deck work, so a $300 repair call is never counted as a perimeter job. **Territory**: if the agency sells exclusivity, list the protected cities or ZIP codes and what happens if it signs a competitor. **LSA migration**: who exports your old LSA reports and manages the new pay-per-lead campaign. **Fee transparency**: Google's third-party policy requires agencies to be transparent about the cost of their services, so ask for the management fee and ad spend as separate lines. **Guarantees**: Google says no one can guarantee a number-one ranking; a lead guarantee like Fence Leads' is different, so read exactly what counts as a qualified request.
How to choose by size
Under about $500K, one or two crews: a complete Google Business Profile, job photos and steady reviews first; they cost nothing. Then a low published fee: We Market Fence from $250, BaaDigi from $297, Fence Marketing from $597, or BeFindable's local SEO plans. Avoid a 12-month term while you are still learning what works.
$500K to $1.5M: roughly $1,200 to $3,000 a month before ad spend. Built-Right Digital's $1,199 tier, DotCom's $1,800 Lite program (12-month start), Fence Marketing Xperts from $2,000 month-to-month, or BaaDigi at $1,397. Fence Marketing Pros and Fence & Deck Marketers quote on a call.
$1.5M to $5M: DotCom's $3,000 Elite program, Geek Powered from $3,500, Fence Marketing Xperts' $3,000 or $5,000 tiers, or Hook Agency (SEO from $2,800, Google Ads from $2,000, yearly commitment; it says it fits $2M-plus companies best).
$5M and up, or multi-location: DotCom's custom Enterprise program, Geek Powered's $7,500 tier, Built-Right's $4,199 or $19,999 tiers, or Hook. Ask for the contract term and the exit terms before the proposal, not after.

Frequently Asked Questions
Which fencing marketing agencies publish their pricing?
On their own sites: We Market Fence ($250, $600, $1,200 a month), Fence Marketing ($597, $797, $1,097), Built-Right Digital ($1,199 to $19,999), DotCom Global Media ($1,800 Lite, $3,000 Elite), Fence Marketing Xperts (from $2,000, $3,000, $5,000; its FAQ says Boost from $1,297), Hook Agency (Google Ads from $2,000, SEO from $2,800), Geek Powered Studios ($3,500, $5,000, $7,500), BeFindable (£197 to £747 plus VAT) and BaaDigi ($297 to $3,997). Fence Marketing Pros, Fence & Deck Marketers, The Fencing Marketers, Timmermann Group and Orbit One publish no monthly price.
Are Fence & Deck Marketers and Deck & Fence Marketers the same company?
Yes. AI answers use both names, but both point to deckfencemarketers.com, whose site calls the company Fence & Deck Marketers, based in Westminster, Maryland, and founded by Alex Danner. We counted it once, at 9 of 29 answers. It works only with fence and deck contractors and takes one fence company and one deck company per city. It does not publish prices or contract terms.
Is DotCom Global Media worth it for a fence company?
It is one of the two agencies AI engines named most in our test (15 of 29 answers), it works only in the fence industry, and it publishes its prices: $1,800 a month for Lite, aimed at companies under about $1.25M, and $3,000 for Elite, aimed at companies over $1.5M, with custom pricing for 3+ locations. Every program starts with a 12-month commitment, and ad spend is separate. It fits fence companies ready to commit a year to a website-plus-SEO program.
What happens to my Local Services Ads when Google moves them into Google Ads?
Google is moving Local Services Ads into Google Ads as Performance Max campaigns with pay-per-lead goals, starting August 2026 for a first group of U.S. trades and expanding to service-area businesses in late 2026. You still pay only for valid leads and still show on Search and Maps, and Google migrates the setup automatically. Your old LSA performance reports do not move over, so download them first. "Fencing specialist" is on Google's supported list.
Which agencies do AI engines recommend for fence companies?
In our 2026-09-30 test of 29 answers across Perplexity, ChatGPT and Google's Gemini: Hook Agency 15, DotCom Global Media 15, Fence Marketing Pros 13, Fence & Deck Marketers 9, The Fencing Marketers 6, Geek Powered Studios 6, Timmermann Group 6, then Orbit One, Clicks Geek, BeFindable, Fence Marketing Xperts and Built-Right Digital at 5 each, and RYNO/Blue Corona and Mad Fish Digital at 4. BaaDigi was named once. Google favored fence-only specialists; Perplexity favored Hook and Built-Right.
Does Google still offer the Google Guaranteed badge for fence companies?
No. Google announced on August 20, 2025 that starting in October 2025 a single Google Verified badge would replace Google Guaranteed and the other Local Services Ads badges, and it discontinued the Money Back Guarantee. Existing verified advertisers received the new badge automatically. Two Google answers in our fencing test still described Local Services Ads as "Google Guaranteed," so if a proposal sells you that badge, ask what else in it is out of date.
