Which Home Service Marketing Agency Should You Hire in 2026?
A home service marketing agency is a firm that runs websites, local SEO, Google Ads, Local Services Ads and reviews for HVAC, plumbing, electrical, roofing, cleaning and other home-service companies. The hard part is not finding one; it is finding one built for a company your size. On 2026-09-30 we asked Perplexity, ChatGPT with web search and Google's Gemini ten questions a home-service owner would type, thirty answers in total, and counted the agencies named. Scorpion and RYNO Strategic Solutions (which merged with Blue Corona in October 2024) were named 21 times each, Hook Agency 16, WebFX 14, Ignite Visibility 7. BaaDigi was named 0 times. Below are those counts, every price and contract term each agency publishes on its own site, and a size-by-size guide, because the most-named agencies are built for bigger shops than most owners run.

The Short Answer
For most home service companies the choice comes down to size. Large home-services agencies (Scorpion, RYNO/Blue Corona, Hook Agency, Ignite Visibility, WebFX) lead the AI answers but are built for established operators: Hook says it serves companies doing $3M to $15M and asks for a yearly commitment; Scorpion typically requires 12 months for its technology and SEO; Ignite says standard home-services management runs $2,000 to $10,000-plus a month; WebFX lists home-services SEO from $3,000 a month. Smaller shops have published, lower-commitment options: Footbridge Media at $249 a month with no contract, Comrade's individual services from $599 a month, and BaaDigi at $297 to $3,997 a month, month-to-month. In our 30-answer AI test Scorpion and RYNO were named 21 times each, Hook 16, WebFX 14, and BaaDigi 0.
Quick Answers
Who are the best home service marketing agencies in 2026?
In a 30-answer test across Perplexity, ChatGPT web search and Google's Gemini on 2026-09-30, the home service marketing agencies named most were Scorpion (21 answers), RYNO Strategic Solutions including Blue Corona (21), Hook Agency (16), WebFX (14), Ignite Visibility (7), Rival Digital, KickCharge Creative and Clicks Geek (6 each), and Footbridge Media, Silverback Strategies and Relentless Digital (5 each). BaaDigi was named 0 times. Most of the lists the engines cited were written by agencies that rank themselves first, so treat any single ranking with care.
How much does a home service marketing agency cost per month?
Published figures from the agencies' own sites: Footbridge Media $249 a month flat with the website included; Comrade Digital Marketing $4,000 a month for its bundled plan, or Local SEO from $1,500, PPC from $1,450 and web design from $599; WebFX home-services SEO from $3,000, paid search from $650 and email from $300 a month; Hook Agency SEO from $2,800, Google Ads from $2,000 and AEO at $4,000 a month; Ignite Visibility says standard home-services management runs $2,000 to $10,000-plus a month; BaaDigi $297 to $3,997 a month. Scorpion, RYNO, Blue Corona, Rival Digital, Clicks Geek, Silverback and Relentless Digital publish no figures. Ad spend is extra everywhere.
Which home service marketing agency is right for a small company?
Match the agency to your revenue, not to the rankings. Hook Agency says it works with companies doing $3M to $15M and does not take early-stage companies. Scorpion typically requires a 12-month contract for its technology and SEO. For one- to five-truck shops, the published low-commitment options are Footbridge Media ($249 a month, no contracts, 90-day money-back guarantee), Comrade's individual services (from $599 a month) and BaaDigi ($297 to $3,997 a month, month-to-month). Before paying anyone, fill out your Google Business Profile, ask every customer for a review, and apply for Local Services Ads.
Do home service marketing agencies require long contracts?
It varies, and the agencies say so on their own sites. Scorpion typically requires 12 months for marketing technology and SEO, with Google Ads, LSAs and Meta usually month-to-month. Hook Agency asks for a yearly commitment. Comrade recommends a 12-month minimum for SEO. WebFX's published SEO plans carry a six-month commitment. Month-to-month by their own statements: Ignite Visibility, Footbridge Media and BaaDigi. Whatever the term, get website, domain, Google Business Profile and ad-account ownership in writing.

How we tested which home service marketing agencies AI engines recommend
On 2026-09-30 we asked ten questions a home-service owner might type, including "Best marketing agency for home service businesses?", "Affordable marketing agency for a small home service business?" and "Which marketing agencies publish their pricing for home service businesses?", to Perplexity (sonar), ChatGPT with web search (gpt-4o) and Google's Gemini with Search grounding. Thirty answers, all returned. We counted every answer that named an agency, merged Blue Corona into RYNO and Silverback into Silverback Strategies, and left software and lead platforms out of the table: ServiceTitan was named 13 times, Housecall Pro 7 and Service Direct 6, but none is an agency. Thomas Town Digital, Lemon Seed Marketing and Valve+Meter were named 3 times each. BaaDigi was named 0 times. Counts come from that one run and will move.
What the engines cited: theStacc's ranking (21 citations), WebFX's list (10), Clutch's home-services directory (10), Thomas Town Digital's list (9), Silverback Strategies' list (8) and Clicks Geek's list (7). theStacc, WebFX, Thomas Town and Clicks Geek each rank themselves first; Silverback ranks itself third. That is normal for agency roundups, and it is why we publish the raw counts and method rather than our own ranking.
Why company size decides which agency fits
The agencies AI names most are built for established companies, and several say so. Hook Agency says it works with companies doing $3M to $15M and not with early-stage businesses. Scorpion typically requires a 12-month contract for its technology and SEO and runs sites on its own CMS. Hook's own SEO starts at $2,800 a month, Ignite Visibility puts standard home-services management at $2,000 to $10,000-plus a month, and WebFX lists home-services SEO from $3,000 a month, before any ad spend.
That is fine for a 20-truck HVAC company with a marketing manager. It is a poor fit for a two-truck plumber or a cleaning company with one office person, where the fee can exceed the budget left for Local Services Ads and Google Ads. The question is not which agency is best; it is which agency is built for a company your size, with a price and a term you can see before the sales call.
What home-service owners complain about after they sign
**Terms they did not expect.** A Scorpion complaint on the Better Business Bureau describes an HVAC owner who believed the arrangement was month-to-month; Scorpion replied that the 12-month commitment was in the signed agreement. Read the term and the renewal clause, not the proposal summary. **Losing control on exit.** Another complaint on the same BBB page describes the agency's account keeping Primary Owner status on the company's Google Business Profile after the engagement ended; Scorpion transferred it the day it saw the complaint. Check today who owns your profile. **Spend nobody can tie to revenue.** On r/smallbusiness, a marketer who audits contractor accounts described a roofer paying $2,800 a month, $33,600 a year, whose agency report showed only impressions, sessions and engagement rate: no calls, no leads by source, no booked jobs. **Shared leads.** The FTC's action on HomeAdvisor covers the lead-quality problem with marketplaces. None of this appears in case studies, so ask about each one directly.
What a home service marketing contract should say
Ownership: you own the domain, website, Google Business Profile (as Primary Owner), Google Ads, Local Services Ads, GA4, call-tracking numbers and CRM data, with the agency added as a manager you can remove. If the site runs on a proprietary CMS, the contract should say what you get on exit; Scorpion's own FAQ says you keep domains, content and imagery but not the system. **Term**: a short minimum that converts to month-to-month, or month-to-month from the start as Ignite, Footbridge and BaaDigi state. **Fees**: management fees shown separately from ad spend; Google's third-party policy says agencies must be transparent about the costs of their services. **Reporting**: calls and booked jobs by source, not impressions. **Guarantees**: Google says no one can guarantee a number-one ranking, so a ranking guarantee is a red flag.
How to choose by size
One to five trucks, under about $1M: fill out the Google Business Profile, collect reviews, and run Local Services Ads first. Then a fixed, month-to-month plan: Footbridge Media at $249 a month, a single Comrade service from $599, or BaaDigi from $297. Avoid 12-month terms until you know your cost per booked job.
Five to fifteen trucks, roughly $1M to $3M: $1,500 to $4,000 a month in fees is where the published options sit: Comrade's Local SEO from $1,500 or its $4,000 bundle, WebFX paid search from $650 plus SEO from $3,000, Ignite from $2,000, BaaDigi from $1,397. Pick the one that will put your calls and booked jobs in one report.
$3M and up, or multi-location: this is who Scorpion, RYNO/Blue Corona, Hook, Silverback and Ignite are built for. Expect a year's commitment at some of them and ask for two references your size.

Frequently Asked Questions
What does a home service marketing agency do?
It runs the channels that make the phone ring for a home-service company: the website, local SEO and the Google Business Profile, Google Ads and Local Services Ads, reviews, and increasingly visibility in AI search tools like ChatGPT and Google's AI Overviews. The better ones also track calls and tie leads to booked jobs in your field service software. Some specialise further: KickCharge Creative in branding and truck wraps, Clicks Geek in paid search and conversion, Footbridge Media in low-cost contractor websites.
Which home service marketing agencies publish their pricing?
From their own sites: Footbridge Media ($249 a month flat), Comrade Digital Marketing ($4,000 a month bundle; Local SEO from $1,500, PPC from $1,450, web design from $599), WebFX (home-services SEO from $3,000, paid search from $650, email from $300 a month), Ignite Visibility (a $2,000 to $10,000-plus management range), Hook Agency (SEO from $2,800, Google Ads from $2,000, AEO $4,000 a month; sites $12,000 or $24,000) and BaaDigi ($297 to $3,997 a month). Scorpion, RYNO, Blue Corona, Rival Digital, KickCharge, Clicks Geek, Silverback Strategies and Relentless Digital publish no figures.
Is Scorpion worth it for a home service business?
It depends on size and how long you can commit. Scorpion was named in 21 of 30 AI answers and bundles website, SEO, ads, LSAs and call intake, with revenue tracked back to your field service software. But it typically requires a 12-month contract for technology and SEO, publishes no prices, and runs sites on its own CMS, so if you leave you keep the domain, content and images and rebuild the site elsewhere. That suits multi-location operators better than a small owner-run shop.
Should I hire a trade-specific agency or a general home services agency?
If you do one trade, compare trade specialists first; the single-trade tests often surface different leaders than this one, and our HVAC, plumbing, roofing and electrician comparisons list them. If you run several trades under one brand, such as HVAC plus plumbing plus electrical, a general home services agency that can split budgets and reporting by service line is usually the better fit. Either way, the contract terms matter more than the label.
Which agency helps home service businesses show up in ChatGPT and AI search?
In our test, the engines named WebFX, Hook Agency, Blue Corona, Footbridge Media, CI Web Group, Valve+Meter, Built Right Digital and Watson & Co for this question. Hook lists AEO as a service on its pricing page and Comrade includes AI search optimisation in its $4,000 bundle. BaaDigi tracks AI search visibility for every client but was named 0 times in this run, which is exactly the gap this page is here to measure.
Who do AI engines recommend as a home service marketing agency?
In our 2026-09-30 test of 30 answers across Perplexity, ChatGPT and Google's Gemini, Scorpion and RYNO/Blue Corona were named 21 times each, Hook Agency 16, WebFX 14, Ignite Visibility 7, Rival Digital, KickCharge and Clicks Geek 6 each, Footbridge Media, Silverback Strategies and Relentless Digital 5 each, and Comrade 3. BaaDigi was named 0 times. ServiceTitan (13), Housecall Pro (7) and Service Direct (6) were also named, but they are software and lead platforms, not agencies.
