Which Google Ads Agency Should a Plumbing Company Hire in 2026?
Plumbing is the trade where Google Ads and Local Services Ads decide who gets the 11 p.m. call. On 2026-10-29 we asked Perplexity, ChatGPT with web search and Google's Gemini ten questions a plumbing owner would type about hiring a Google Ads and Local Services Ads agency. 29 answers came back (one Perplexity request failed). RYNO Strategic Solutions was named in 16, Plumbing & HVAC SEO in 16, Scorpion and Blue Corona in 15 each, Hook Agency in 14 and Relentless Digital in 13. BaaDigi was named in 0. Below are the counts, every Ads price the agencies publish, the contract terms, and what a plumbing Ads agency should show you before you sign.

The Short Answer
Only four of the twelve competitor agencies below publish a Google Ads price for plumbers. Blue Grid Media charges $795/mo + $750 setup, flat on ad budgets up to $10,000, with a $2,500 minimum monthly ad spend and 10% of ad spend above $10,000/month in place of the flat fee; its stated terms are "Month to month, account in your name." Hook Agency starts Google Ads plus Local Services Ads at $2,000 a month on a yearly commitment. Plumbing & HVAC SEO charges $1,500 a month up to $10,000 of ad spend (then 15% of spend above that) plus $549 to $1,549 a month for Local Services Ads management. Built-Right Digital lists Google Ads at $999 a month and a $299 Local Services Ads setup. RYNO, Blue Corona, Scorpion, Thrive, Relentless Digital, Rival Digital, Silverback Strategies and Valve+Meter publish no Ads price. Judge any quote against the SearchLight Digital plumbing benchmark (Q1 2026, listed in the sources): $183 per lead on non-branded Google search across 524 plumbing contractors and $14.6M of spend.
Quick Answers
Best Google Ads and Local Services Ads management agency for plumbing companies?
There is no single best. In 2026-10-29 tests across Perplexity, ChatGPT web search and Google Gemini (29 answers), the agencies named most were RYNO Strategic Solutions (16), Plumbing & HVAC SEO (16), Scorpion (15), Blue Corona (15, merged into RYNO on October 1, 2024), Hook Agency (14) and Relentless Digital (13). Blue Grid Media (7) is the only one of the most-named that publishes a flat Google Ads fee with month-to-month terms and an account in your name. Pick on published price, term, and who owns the ad account, not on a list an agency wrote about itself.

Both exclude ad spend, which Google bills you directly. Rival Digital's form marks "Under $1M (not a fit currently)", so it may decline a smaller shop. BaaDigi's Foundation engine is $297/mo + $700 setup (engine pricing; Ads scope per sales call).

How we tested which agencies AI engines actually recommend
On 2026-10-29 we asked ten questions a plumbing owner might type, including "Best Google Ads and Local Services Ads management agency for plumbing companies?", "I run a plumbing company. Which agency should I hire?" and "Which Google Ads and Local Services Ads management agencies publish their pricing for plumbing companies?", to Perplexity (sonar), ChatGPT with web search (gpt-4o) and Google's Gemini with Search grounding. That is 30 requests; one Perplexity request failed on a rate limit, so 29 answers. We counted each answer that named an agency and kept Blue Corona and RYNO as separate rows because the engines still name them separately. ServiceTitan, named in 7 Google answers, is software and is left out of the table. BaaDigi was named in 0 of 29; Perplexity cited two of our pages as sources but did not name us.
What the engines cited: lsaagencies.com (21 citations), clicksgeek.com (20), marketingltb.com (19), bluegridmedia.com (16) and thesnowmedia.com (13). Blue Grid Media's and Silverback Strategies' lists each rank their own publisher near the top. Plumbing Webmasters, Clicks Geek and Roundhouse also appeared in a few answers and were not reviewed here.
What does Google Ads cost for a plumbing company?
Benchmark first, from our plumbing benchmarks page: SearchLight Digital's Q1 2026 analysis ("SearchLight Digital, Plumbing Google Ads Cost Per Lead (2026)", linked in the sources) puts the average non-branded Google search cost per lead at $183 across 524 plumbing contractors and $14.6M of spend, and its multi-trade table lists plumbing at $167 per lead with a 41.5% book rate. Agency claims are separate: Plumbing & HVAC SEO reports a self-reported blended plumbing CPL of $25 to $30 before fees, and the channel is not established. Then add the management fee: published fees here run $795 to $2,000 a month for management before ad spend, which Google bills to you directly.
A cost per lead is not a cost per job, so ask any agency for cost per booked job rather than cost per lead.
What a good plumbing Google Ads agency must show you
Offline conversion import.** Google Ads can take closed-job revenue back from your CRM (Google's help page is linked below). Without it, Smart Bidding treats every 60-second call as a win and optimizes for price shoppers and wrong numbers. Blue Grid Media and RYNO both say they connect ServiceTitan; ask any agency to show it live. **Call tracking with recordings** so you can hear the leads. **Separate campaigns by job: emergency, drain, water heater and repipe do not share a cost target. **Ownership**: the Google Ads account, Local Services Ads profile, Google Business Profile, GA4 and domain are in your name from day one; Scorpion's FAQ says it transfers the Local Services Ads account on exit, Blue Grid Media says "account in your name". **Term**: month-to-month or a short minimum. **Licence**: Google verifies licences for Local Services Ads advertisers, so a current plumbing licence on file is the entry ticket. **Badge name**: Google Verified.
What plumbers run into after signing
A term that was not what the owner heard.** Scorpion's FAQ says Google Ads and Local Services Ads are typically month-to-month while technology and SEO run 12 months, so ask which line each fee falls under. **Yearly commitments** at Hook Agency and a 12-month initial term at Plumbing & HVAC SEO are published and fair if you know them going in. **Averaged results: Hook's Lorenz case reports $264 per qualified lead, but the page labels it an HVAC lead from a combined SEO and Ads program, so ask for plumbing-only Ads numbers.
How to choose by size
One or two trucks: start with Local Services Ads and a complete Google Business Profile with your licence number. Built-Right Digital at $999 for Google Ads, Blue Grid Media at $795/mo + $750 setup with a $2,500 minimum monthly ad spend, or BaaDigi's Foundation engine at $297/mo + $700 setup (Ads scope per sales call). Blue Grid publishes month-to-month terms; Built-Right's standalone Ads term is unstated.
Three to eight trucks: Plumbing & HVAC SEO at $1,500 plus its Local Services Ads tier, Blue Grid Media at $795/mo + $750 setup, Hook at $2,000 and up, or BaaDigi's Predictability engine at $1,397/mo.
Multi-location, $5M-plus: RYNO (cites $5,000 or more across services; request an Ads-specific monthly quote), Scorpion, Hook at $5,000 to $8,000, or BaaDigi's Market Control engine at $3,997/mo. Ask for the contract split between technology and advertising.
**Do not hire anyone yet** if calls go to voicemail after hours. Fixing that costs nothing and beats any retainer.

Frequently Asked Questions
Which plumbing Google Ads agencies publish their pricing?
Blue Grid Media ($795/mo + $750 setup; $2,500 minimum monthly ad spend; 10% of ad spend above $10,000/month in place of the flat fee), Hook Agency (Google Ads + LSA from $2,000 a month), Plumbing & HVAC SEO ($1,500 a month plus 15% of spend above $10,000; LSA $549, $949 or $1,549), Built-Right Digital (Google Ads $999 a month, LSA setup $299) and BaaDigi (engine pricing, Ads scope per sales call: $297/mo + $700 setup; $497/mo + $995 setup; $1,397/mo; $3,997/mo). RYNO cites $5,000 or more across services; request an Ads-specific monthly quote. Scorpion, Blue Corona, Thrive, Relentless Digital, Rival Digital, Silverback Strategies and Valve+Meter do not publish an Ads price.
Is Blue Corona the same company as RYNO?
Yes. Blue Corona and RYNO Strategic Solutions merged effective October 1, 2024, under the RYNO name, and RYNO's site now says "Formerly Blue Corona". AI engines still list them separately, so this page keeps two rows: in our test RYNO was named in 16 answers and Blue Corona in 15. Several answers named both, so the two figures cannot simply be added.
How much should a plumber spend on Google Ads?
There is no fixed figure. The ad spend is billed by Google, and agencies here set minimums from $2,000 a month (Plumbing & HVAC SEO's practical floor) to $2,500 (Blue Grid Media). Judge the spend on cost per booked job after 90 days, split by emergency, drain, water heater and repipe work.
Should a plumber sign a 12-month Google Ads contract?
Only with ownership and an exit in writing. Hook Agency asks for a yearly commitment and Plumbing & HVAC SEO a 12-month initial term. Scorpion says Google Ads and Local Services Ads are typically month-to-month while its technology and SEO run 12 months. Blue Grid Media publishes month-to-month terms, and Built-Right Digital's full-service plans are month-to-month. Whatever the term, the ad account and Google Business Profile should be in your name.
Google Ads or Local Services Ads for plumbers?
Most plumbing companies run both. Local Services Ads sit above search ads, charge per lead and require Google to verify your licence; search ads cost $183 per lead on non-branded search in SearchLight Digital's plumbing data but give you control of keywords and service lines such as water heaters and repipes. Agencies here price the two separately, for example Plumbing & HVAC SEO's $1,500 for Google Ads versus $549 to $1,549 for Local Services Ads.
Who do AI engines recommend for plumbing Google Ads?
In our 2026-10-29 test of 29 answers, RYNO was named 16 times, Plumbing & HVAC SEO 16, Scorpion 15, Blue Corona 15, Hook Agency 14, Relentless Digital 13, Thrive 8, Blue Grid Media 7, and Silverback Strategies, Rival Digital, Valve+Meter and Built-Right Digital 6 each. BaaDigi was named 0 times. Several of the most-cited pages were agency-written lists that rank their own publisher first.
What is offline conversion import and why does it matter?
It sends closed-job revenue from your CRM back to Google Ads against the original click. Without it, Google optimizes for any call, including price shoppers and wrong numbers. Google documents the feature in its Ads Help, and Blue Grid Media and RYNO both say they connect ServiceTitan. Ask any agency to show a plumbing account where it is live.
