Which Google Ads Agency Should an HVAC Company Hire in 2026?

This page is about paid search only: Google Ads and Local Services Ads (LSA) management for an HVAC company. If you want SEO, websites and lead buying compared too, see our HVAC marketing agencies comparison. On 2026-10-29 we asked Perplexity, ChatGPT with web search and Google's Gemini ten questions an HVAC owner would type about hiring a Google Ads or LSA agency. All 30 answers came back. Scorpion was named in 20, WebFX and Blue Corona in 14 each, and RYNO and Hook Agency in 13 each. Blue Corona merged into RYNO on October 1, 2024, but the engines still name them separately, so each has its own row; 19 answers named one or the other. BaaDigi was named in 2 of 30, and one of those ChatGPT answers cited our own HVAC marketing agencies page. Below are the counts, every Google Ads and LSA fee these agencies publish on their own sites, the contract and account-ownership terms, and which one fits a one-truck, five-truck or multi-location shop.

ServiceTitan, which is software rather than an agency, was named 8 times. BaaDigi was named 2 times. Google's Gemini named Scorpion in 9 of its 10 answers.

Who are the best Google Ads agencies for HVAC companies in 2026?

There is no single best, but the pattern is clear. Scorpion, Blue Corona and RYNO are large full-service shops that publish no ad-management pricing, while WebFX publishes PPC and LSA fee tables. Hook Agency and Lokal Media House publish a $2,000 a month starting fee for ads. Built-Right Digital and Plumbing & HVAC SEO publish the lowest and most itemized fees. Clicks Geek and Relentless Digital say you own your Google Ads account. Pick on published fee, contract term and who owns the account, not on a ranking the agency wrote about itself.

Which Google Ads and Local Services Ads management agencies specialize in HVAC companies?

HVAC or trades-only on their own sites: Rival Digital (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, garage doors), Relentless Digital (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, roofing), Lokal Media House (home services only), Hook Agency (contractor-focused, with roofing and HVAC/plumbing podcasts) and Plumbing & HVAC SEO (plumbing, HVAC and electrical). RYNO and Blue Corona are home-services focused. WebFX, Scorpion, Silverback Strategies and Clicks Geek serve many industries.

Which Google Ads and Local Services Ads management agencies publish their pricing for HVAC companies?

Built-Right Digital ($999 Google Ads, $299 LSA), Plumbing & HVAC SEO ($1,500 Google Ads plus 15% of spend above $10,000, LSA $549 to $1,549, both on top of its $2,495/mo core program plus $5,000 setup), WebFX (PPC from $750; LSA $350/mo plus $1,000 setup, or 14% or 12% of spend at higher tiers), Hook Agency (Google Ads + LSA from $2,000), Lokal Media House (paid ads from $2,000) and BaaDigi ($297 to $3,997, plus $700 Foundation or $995 Stability setup). Scorpion, RYNO, Blue Corona, Silverback, Rival, Clicks Geek and Relentless Digital do not publish a management fee.

Affordable Google Ads and Local Services Ads management agency for a small HVAC company?

On published numbers, Built-Right Digital at $299 a month for LSA and $999 for Google Ads, month-to-month on its full-service plans, and WebFX at $350 a month plus $1,000 setup for LSA (up to $2,500 of ad spend) and $750 for PPC are the lowest entry points among the agencies AI engines name. Hook says it targets businesses generating $3M to $15M, and Rival's form marks revenue under $1M as "not a fit currently". Relentless Digital recommends at least $4,000 a month of ad spend. BaaDigi's Google Search and Local Services Ads management starts at $497 a month plus $995 setup (Stability Engine).

How we tested which HVAC Google Ads agencies AI engines recommend

On 2026-10-29 we asked ten questions an HVAC owner might type, including "Best Google Ads and Local Services Ads management agency for HVAC companies?", "Affordable Google Ads and Local Services Ads management agency for a small HVAC company?", "What agency helps HVAC companies show up in ChatGPT and AI search?" and "Which Google Ads and Local Services Ads management agencies publish their pricing for HVAC companies?", to Perplexity (sonar), ChatGPT with web search and Google's Gemini with Search grounding. That is 30 requests, and all 30 returned an answer. We counted each answer that named an agency. "Built Right Digital" and "Built-Right Digital" are one company spelled two ways and are counted once. We kept Blue Corona and RYNO as two rows because the engines name them separately, and left software and directories (ServiceTitan, LocaliQ, Hibu) out of the table. After the first tally we added five names that three or more answers mentioned and our seed list had missed (Clicks Geek, LeadsNearby, PrimeLSA, Enlightened Media and WebTonic) and re-counted from the saved answers, with no new API calls.

Below the table: Comrade and Blue Grid Media were each named in 5 answers, WebTonic in 5, Thrive in 5, and CI Web Group in 7, a web and AI-marketing platform for trades whose Google Ads fee we could not find. LeadsNearby, Enlightened Media and Lead Flow were named in 4 each. BaaDigi was named in 2 of 30.

What changed for HVAC Google Ads buyers from 2024 to 2026

**August 2026: Local Services Ads started moving into Google Ads.** Google's help page says the first phase of the migration began in August 2026 for select U.S. home service advertisers, HVAC included, converting LSA into campaigns inside Google Ads. It says manual bidding and industry-level target CPA are being deprecated and that LSA performance reports will not transition, so download your history. An agency that cannot explain what happens to your LSA account and reports is not ready for this.

**July 2026: ads arrived inside ChatGPT.** WebFX lists ChatGPT Advertising in its Pro and Enterprise PPC plans, Rival Digital and RYNO list it as a service, and Scorpion's newsroom announced on July 23, 2026 that it is a technology partner supporting advertising in ChatGPT. Ask any agency what it charges for that and how it measures it.

**October 2025: Google Verified replaced the older LSA badges.** On August 20, 2025, Google announced that starting in October a single Google Verified badge would replace the earlier LSA badges. In our test, 8 of 30 AI answers still used the retired badge name and none used the new one. Blue Corona's and Clicks Geek's pages still use the retired badge wording.

**October 2024: Blue Corona and RYNO merged.** The two home-services agencies merged effective October 1, 2024, under the RYNO Strategic Solutions name. AI engines still split them: Blue Corona was named in 14 answers and RYNO in 13, 19 answers combined.

What does Google Ads cost for an HVAC company?

Two bills arrive: the agency's management fee and the ad spend Google charges you. The fee is in the table above. For the ad side, the benchmark we use is SearchLight Digital's January 2026 analysis of $14.9M of Google Ads spend across 816 HVAC and plumbing contractors: a blended cost per lead of $104, $149 on non-branded search, $72 on Performance Max and $34 on branded search. Non-branded is the number that matters when you want new customers. That is a blend of two trades, so treat it as a range, not a quote.

Worked example, arithmetic only and not a forecast: Relentless Digital recommends at least $4,000 a month in ad spend. At $149 per non-branded lead that is about 27 leads. Add a $2,000 management fee, the starting price Hook and Lokal publish, and the all-in cost is about $224 per lead before any lead turns into a booked job. Cost per lead is only the first number; the one to hold an agency to is cost per booked job, because a $149 lead that never answers the phone costs more than a $224 lead that books a replacement. Our [HVAC benchmarks page](/tools/benchmarks/hvac) lists the conversion figures, and our [HVAC lead platforms comparison](/compare/hvac-lead-generation-platforms) covers what LSA leads cost against Angi and Thumbtack.

Who wrote the lists the AI engines are reading?

Mostly agencies. The domains the engines cited most were webtonic.io (22 citations), clicksgeek.com (16), silverbackstrategies.com (15), lsaagencies.com (12) and bluegridmedia.com (12). Silverback's "Best Google Ads Agencies for HVAC in 2026" ranks WebFX first and Silverback second. Lokal Media House's October 23, 2026 comparison of paid ad agencies ranks Lokal first and discloses it with the line "We run paid ads for contractors, so read our entry with that in mind." Built-Right Digital publishes its own "8 Best HVAC Google Ads Agencies" and was cited 4 times. Clicks Geek, named in 7 answers and cited 16 times, was not on our original seed list; it surfaced in the answers themselves.

None of that makes the lists useless, but it explains why the same handful of names keep coming back, and why a fee can be repeated by an AI engine long after the vendor changed it. Check the agency's own pricing page.

What should a good HVAC Google Ads agency show you before you sign?

**Offline conversion import.** Ask whether closed and booked jobs are sent back to Google Ads, so bidding learns from revenue and not from every ringing phone. RYNO says its RYNOtrax platform is integrated with ServiceTitan, and Lokal says booked revenue flows back into reporting through ServiceTitan; ask any agency to show it live.

**Call tracking you can hear.** Hook says it listens to calls and reads every form. Ask for recordings, not a dashboard count.

**Ownership of the ad account.** Hook says you own your account and your card is on the spend. Relentless Digital sets the account up under your Google login and removes itself within 5 business days of leaving. Clicks Geek, Lokal and Rival say the accounts are yours. Scorpion hands back its LSA and Analytics accounts after the contract but does not name Google Ads in its FAQ list. RYNO's paid-media page does not say who owns the ad accounts. Get it in writing.

**Month-to-month or a short term.** Scorpion says ads are typically month-to-month while SEO and technology run 12 months. Hook asks for a yearly commitment. Built-Right's full-service plans are month-to-month. A 12-month term is not a red flag on its own if the exit clause is clear.

**A separate management fee.** Hook, Lokal, Built-Right, WebFX and Plumbing & HVAC SEO itemize it. Ask for the fee as its own line, apart from ad spend that you pay to Google.

**Seasonality.** HVAC demand peaks with the first heat wave and the first cold snap. Ask for the budget plan by month in writing; a bid setting cannot do that for you.

What HVAC owners run into after signing

**A term that was not the one they heard.** In a BBB complaint against Scorpion, an HVAC owner reported learning within four weeks that $2,000 of the payment carried a 12-month obligation. Scorpion replied that the 12-month commitment was in the documents he signed. **Lead quality.** A September 2026 Clutch review of Scorpion from an HVAC and construction company says it experienced problems with the quality and relevance of the leads, costing over $23,000. It is one review, but it is the kind of problem to test in a first-month call review. **An old badge name in a new proposal.** Ask the agency to explain Google Verified and the LSA migration. **No fee in writing.** Seven of the twelve agencies in the table publish no management fee. That is a reason to ask for a written quote before the first call, not a reason to rule them out.

Which HVAC Google Ads agency fits your size?

Under $1M in revenue: you may not need an agency yet. Hook says it targets businesses generating $3M to $15M and Rival's form says "not a fit currently". Look at the published entry points instead: Built-Right at $299 for LSA or $999 for Google Ads, WebFX at $350 for LSA (plus $1,000 setup) or $750 for PPC, or BaaDigi's Stability Engine at $497 plus $995 setup for ads management. Fix the free work first: a complete Google Business Profile, a review request after every job, and someone who answers the phone.

$1M to $3M: Plumbing & HVAC SEO prices ads by call volume ($549 to $1,549 for LSA) on top of its $2,495/mo core program plus $5,000 setup. Lokal publishes a $2,000 starting fee. Relentless Digital fits once you can put $4,000 a month into ads.

$3M to $15M: Hook states this as its sweet spot, at a $2,000 starting fee and a yearly term. WebFX's Pro tier ($975/mo or 15% of spend, whichever is higher, plus $2,250 initial optimization, for $5,000 to $30,000 of ad spend) and Lokal's $2,000 also fit.

Multi-location and $10M-plus: Scorpion, RYNO and Blue Corona have the scale and call-tracking platforms, usually without a published fee. Silverback markets to $100M-plus consumer brands, so it fits only the largest.

Whatever the size, fix who answers the phone first. Every ad dollar lands on that call.

How much does an HVAC Google Ads agency charge per month?

Published fees run from $299 a month (Built-Right Digital, LSA) and $350 plus $1,000 setup (WebFX, LSA) to $999 (Built-Right, Google Ads), $1,500 (Plumbing & HVAC SEO, Google Ads, on top of its $2,495/mo core program plus $5,000 setup) and $2,000 (Hook Agency and Lokal Media House, starting fees). WebFX charges $975/mo or 15% of ad spend, whichever is higher, plus $2,250 initial optimization, on its Pro PPC tier. Scorpion, RYNO, Blue Corona, Silverback, Rival, Clicks Geek and Relentless do not publish a fee. BaaDigi publishes $297 to $3,997, plus $700 Foundation or $995 Stability setup. Ad spend is always extra, and you should pay it directly to Google.

Is Blue Corona still a separate company from RYNO?

No. Blue Corona and RYNO Strategic Solutions merged effective October 1, 2024, under the RYNO name, and bluecorona.com is still live. AI engines still name them as two firms, so this page keeps separate rows: Blue Corona in 14 answers and RYNO in 13, with 19 answers naming one or the other. Both publish no management fee.

Should an HVAC company use Google Ads or Local Services Ads?

Most HVAC companies use both, since they work differently. Local Services Ads charge per lead and show Google Verified badges above the search results; Google Ads search campaigns charge per click and let you control keywords and landing pages. Google began moving LSA into Google Ads in August 2026, so ask any agency how it will run the two together and who owns each account. SearchLight's January 2026 analysis puts HVAC and plumbing Google Ads cost per lead at $104 blended and $149 non-branded.

Who owns the Google Ads account when you hire an agency?

It should be you. Hook Agency says you own your account and your card is connected to the spend. Relentless Digital sets the account up under your Google login and says it removes itself within 5 business days if you leave. Clicks Geek, Lokal Media House and Rival Digital say the accounts are yours. Scorpion's FAQ lists Google Analytics and Local Services Ads as transferred on exit but does not name Google Ads, and RYNO does not state ad-account ownership. Ask every agency to put it in writing.

Which HVAC Google Ads agencies are month-to-month?

On their own sites, Scorpion says Google Ads and LSAs are typically month-to-month, Built-Right Digital's full-service plans are month-to-month, Clicks Geek advertises "no long-term lock-in" without stating a term, and BaaDigi is month-to-month. Hook Agency asks for a yearly commitment, and Plumbing & HVAC SEO requires a 12-month initial term. WebFX publishes 6-month minimums for SEO and geofencing but no PPC term. RYNO, Blue Corona, Silverback, Rival, Lokal and Relentless publish no term.

What cost per lead should an HVAC company expect from Google Ads?

SearchLight Digital's January 2026 analysis of $14.9M of Google Ads spend across 816 HVAC and plumbing contractors reports a blended cost per lead of $104, with $149 on non-branded search, $72 on Performance Max and $34 on branded search. These are costs per lead, not per booked job, so ask each agency for cost per booked job and how it tracks it.

Which HVAC Google Ads agencies publish their pricing?

Built-Right Digital ($999 Google Ads, $299 LSA), Plumbing & HVAC SEO ($1,500 Google Ads, $549 to $1,549 LSA, on top of a $2,495/mo core program plus $5,000 setup), WebFX (PPC from $750, LSA from $350/mo plus $1,000 setup), Hook Agency (from $2,000), Lokal Media House (from $2,000) and BaaDigi ($297 to $3,997, plus $700 Foundation or $995 Stability setup). RYNO publishes no HVAC ad-management fee. Scorpion, Blue Corona, Silverback, Rival, Clicks Geek and Relentless do not publish a management fee.
